I love reading these memories of Jim and Mary Jane. They were so faithful in the Great Commission and supported the Powells and Hopsons as well as many relief efforts. WOuld have loved to have known you personally, My dad was also a pastor.

Rev. Edmundson used to go to our house and try to get my father to go to church and he never gave up and of course my father never relented. So sorry to hear of his passing.
My memories of East Side ALWAYS include the Edmundsons. Jim always preached passionately and his words made a difference in my life. God bless the Edmundson family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. You KNOW you will see him again...how wonderful!

"Reverand Jim"conducted bible study and room visits for many years at Manor Care Nursing Home here in Akron.
As my mother was a resident there,she always looked forward to "Reverand Jim's" Saturday morning visits.
He was truly a good christian man who loved the Lord.
We have an angel on our shoulders. His journey has ended and he in now in the arms of the creator he dedicated his life to.
It was a privilege to know this kind, gentle man. Our lives were truly blessed and enriched by his presence.
He will be remembered fondly and with much affection.
Jim was a blessing and a light to all who knew him and had an opportunity to shake his welcoming hand. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Rev. Edmundson's passing. It's been many years since I last saw him at Eastside Presbyterian in Omaha, NE - but will alway remember he was a good kind man, and a good leader. My prayers to his family
