I have many fond memories of working late nights in security at Sterling with Jim in the 90's. He was a great mentor, a true friend, and a good man. He always shared stories about his son and his love of the outdoors. Although I have not seen Jim in many years I still think about him often and was sad to learn of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Just great person to know on this earth.
Dad, We miss you and think of you everyday! We know you are reading your books that you loved. We know that where you have gone in heaven there are many books for you to read and enjoy and all the bird watching your heart desires. We know that your finally getting to do some fishing that you loved so much!! And we hope your getting to sketch those barns you loved so much as well. We miss you Dad, you were a Saint for all that you did here on earth!! We love you!! Love to you always, Doug and Michelle Vogus

My deepest condolences to Jim's family and friends. I was so saddened to hear of Jim's passing I haven't seen or spoken to Jim in over seven years. Jim was a good and decent man with a great sense of humor, Jim could be an ornery cuss but always good hearted and boy could he tell a yarn or two. Rest in peace Jim.
