I have thought of Ms. Rocko over the years and shared stories of her patience and kindness, to my young daughters. I am truly blessed to have had her as a 2nd grade teacher at Richardson Elementary in the 1970's. RIP Ms. Rocko

Jennie was the most selfless person! She triumphed in everyone's successes and always made you feel like you were the best.

We did not meet her until my parents moved into the apartment building in Cuyahoga Falls which was long after she retired.

When we visited from California, we would pass her in the garage when she was on her way to church--where she went every day.

She and my mother, Betty Santilli, became (BFF) friends--they traveled together with the Travel Club of Cuyahoga Falls and went to lunch together on birthdays and holidays even after my mother moved out of the building.Jennie's favorite place as LaFevers on the river. My sister, my mother and I met her there several years ago. I will never forget that beautiful smile.

Rest in peace Jennie, you will be missed by everyone who knew you.

I had Miss Rocko 2nd grade Preston- 69-70. What a wonderful teacher. I remember her very well. Her kindness, patience goes beyond words. Even in a classroom full of young students she was able to pay attention to individual needs- I will always remember Miss Rocko!

I had Miss Rocko for 2nd grade at Preston Elementary. She was one of my very favorite teachers, always kind and encouraging. She'd always tease about how her name sounded like the pizza place, but...wasn't! May she rest in peace, and Light Perpetual shine upon her.

Miss Rocco was my third grade teacher at Sill. She is the one that "lit the fire under me" and got me to do my work. I will never forget her. She was a great person and teacher.

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Miss Rocco. She was my 2nd grade teacher at Richardson and I've never forgot her. She loved her job and the children. She was caring, compassionate and truly loved teaching to the children that were fortunate enough to have her as their teacher. That was a long time ago as I'm 43 now but I was able to see her over the years since she lived in the same apartment building (at 540) where my "Grandma" Reggie also lived. God Bless You Ms. Rocco - heaven will shine brighter with gaining another Angel.

Jennie was truly a gift from God to all who knew her. Her love and laughter brightened lives of friends. Strangers were friends she had yet to meet. My prayers are for her and the friends and family who grieve her. She has found peace and comfort; may we find that too. Our memories will keep her legacy of love and laughter alive each time we share her gentleness with those around us. God bless Jennie. I'm glad you prayed and shared with us at IHM.
