Aunt Connie & Family,
Words are not enough...I so wish I could be there with you to love on you with hugs as we would cry and laugh together as we share the heart felt memories of the loving DiCeglio family.
Uncle Joe had the biggest heart so full of love & life. God blessed Uncle Joe with riches that that can't be deposited in a bank but rather with a legacy of highest love & honor by all that knew him.
All my love always,
Nancy Damato Jones (Mimi's daughter) Hemet, Calif.

My deepest regret that we can't be there for Uncle Joe's Memorial.
Uncle Joe was a very special person in everyone's life that knew him.
He was our family's hero. A vet that received two Bronze Stars. Serving in the second World War. As a very young boy, I remember when he returned from his tour of duty. His Mother and everyone just thanked the Lord that he was home, free from harm or risk. God answered a Mothers prayer.
The DiCeglio Family all lived such a great lives. If they were contractors they would be the best because they laid the greatest foundations with out putting up any walls. I never heard anyone say anything negative about any of them. I feel very privileged to be a part of this family. Uncle Joe was a gentleman that truly was a gentle man.
Us boys, all six, can't help remember him coming to all our sporting events. Going to see the Cleveland Indians play, and any games my brothers were playing. He was a good example of a great athlete.
A man with a green thumb, what a garden. Uncle Joe could put together in his back yard. the best veggies and fruit. We always enjoyed visiting Uncle Joe to taste food from his garden.
When we would travel back from California to visit Uncle Joe and Aunt Connie we were so welcomed. Just loved the good food, and fellowship.
I am so sure that when he arrived in heaven it had to be a reunion and a great supper time. All the family members were all waiting for this special time. Some day we will all be part of the same reunion. Until we meet again.
Love to all over there.

First, our prayers for the family and our hope that even through this sad event, the family will be blessed, blessed with all the memories of the fun and love that came from this wonderful human being, wonderful husband, wonderful father, wonderful grandfather and wonderful brother.
I sit here and as I write, tears are streaming down just thinking of this great guy, my Uncle Joe. He will always be remembered as the greatest Uncle anyone could have and HE WAS OUR UNCLE!
he lived a full life, full of love and compassion for mankind in general, but he was so full of love for his family, my Uncle and I used to have these long phone calls and we pretty much mentioned the whole family in all the talks, and every call ended with "I love you TOM CAT" that was what I was called, all the time, and "God Bless you all out there", (California),
I will treasure and miss that part of life forever.
my favorite memory was when we visited Uncle Joe and Aunt Connie and when we had to leave, Uncle Joe was at the door crying, crying because he saw us, and crying because we had to leave.
and as the perfect Gentleman he is, and gracious Brother, he allowed his Sister lee, to enter Heaven just before him,
what a wonderful reunion that will be!!!
that's my "UNCK"
and as Grandma, his loving and so precious mom would say, "STA BON".
Unck, give them all a kiss for me,
love you!!
