Mr. Cochran's family, just last night I attended the Hartville class reunion at the Hartville kitchen with my father, Eldon Barry. I accompanied my dad because my step mother just had back surgery 4 weeks ago. On the 2 hour drive to Hartville , my father was hoping he may see his favorite coach. His exact quote was he' s the last of my big three!" I asked , dad, what do you mean?" He said there were 3 men in my life who truly influenced me. The first being my grandfather, PM Barry, the second being a teacher of his and Scott Master , Mr Worstler, and finally his favorite coach, Mr. Cochran. He was very saddened to hear of his passing last night at the Hartville class reunion ! I just wanted you to know that my dad is a great man & father and thank you to your father for help molding him!! God Bless & know your entire family is & will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers !!

Bob Cochran was one of my favorite teachers. Being a graduate of LHS in 1967, he was my husband's football coach in his freshman year. He was one of the good teachers you always remember.

I was in Mr. Cochran's OWE class in 1976-1977. He taught me and others the basics. Be on time. Do the job you were hired to do. Do more than expected. I remember he asked me to ride to his home (I think on Myersville Rd.) A cow had gotten loose and he needed to get it back home. Mr. Cochran had more influence on me than any other teacher at Lake. Thank you, Bob. You are the reason that, at age 53, I arrive at work 15 minutes before my shift. A great man.

What a great guy Bob was. As he coached my freshman football team that was undefeated that year I was honered to be the offence center(#45) in thoses games. His leadership he gave me has been with me all my life.

Liquid Prayers
The tears flow freely down my cheek
each drop a silent word to speak
Sometimes when it is too hard to pray
my tears know just the words to say...
I thank You, God, for tears that fall
I thank You, God, that You see them all
the words are silent, but they are there...Each one a silent, liquid prayer. (Author Unknown)

Psalm 56:8
Thou hast taken account of my
Wanderings; put my tears in Thy
Bottle; are they not in Thy book?
