Dear Carolyn, though I never met Denny,I know you would only have a very wonderful husband. I am so sorry for your loss. Gayle Skorman Waxman
I was a patient of Dr. Thompson for many years and he was THE BEST!
Carolyn and Jennie my thoughts and prayers are with you..When I think of Uncle Denny I will always remember my summer visits to Shaker Heights. What fun we had and such dear memories. Playing down in your basement, running all over your backyard and spending time with you all each summer when I was a little girl. The best!!! I loved your visit last winter when everyone came to my house for dinner I remember chatting about wine (which I knew nothing about until Uncle Denny taught me about Palmer vineyards.) We talked about old times and as he was leaving I told him that "I loved him"....He said "I love you, too." What a wonderful memory I have of our time together. Love to you all.... Lisa Palmer

Dr. Thompson's death truly saddens me. I was his patient for many, many years and he was such a kind and gentle person. Bless you all at this time.
To Jennie and Carolyn, my deepest sympathies. May this be a time of peace for you.
Carolyn and Jennie, I am thinking about you and send my condolences. Uncle Denny was a fine man and doctor. I am so glad you both were in Delray and were able to introduce the little ones to their great uncle and aunt. Love John
Dr Thompson was my doc for many years. Am saddened of the news of his death.
The quality of the food and wine in Heaven will certainly improve once Denny makes his mark. We send Carolyn and her family our heartfelt sympathies on the loss of this wonderful gentleman.
We are so sad. We are sending our love to Carolyn, Jennie, John, Sophia, Nicholas and the entire Thompson family.

My prayers are with Carolyn and the family during this difficult time. Dr. Thompson was a class act. I feel priviledged to have worked with him. He was a very kind and compassionate man who cared a great deal for his patients and his staff. He will truly be missed.

I will always miss Denny. He was my Best Man at Nan and my wedding - and helped drink all the wine at Portage Country Club. Denny was kind enough to find housing for me when he was at school in NYC - we (his 5 friends)helped the economy by attending many bars, and restaurants. I was at Fort Dix - Army - and would go up to NYC to visit Denny - he was a great leader of our entertainment team. Denny showed me some of the permanent residents of the hospital - the morgue. Denny was a great golfer. I remember when he met his wife - across the street from DeYoungs. I remember meeting Denny at the Cleveland airport - during a blizzard. I put on chains to the tires. Halfway home - one of the chains broke. The car sounded like a Tank. It was a good thing that I had a doctor in the car to handle the Stress Test. Denny should be held up for all men to emulate - the best.
Carolyn, Jen and family, our prayers are with you. We feel priviledged to have known such a wonderful man and friend.
Denny was a good friend and a great doctor. Although I had not seen him for several years, I thought of him frequently. I know Biddy,Nan,Jennie and Caroline are greiving. Our hearts go out to you. I am sure he is in a better place as he was a very good man.
Our prayers are with you.
THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS TO THE FAMILY.
HE WAS A KIND MAN AND A GOOD PERSON
God blessed me with a terrific brother whose life was taken more quickly than we anticipated. I treasure the many memories of all Denny taught me - - how to play hockey (in our Akron garage - - I was 6), memorizing the Cleveland Indians and their batting averages (when they were pennant contenders), how to play bridge, Broadway show music, stories of his European travels, and so many other fond memories and laughs. It was always comforting to know he was just a phone call or email away. I miss him.
I know he is with Mom and Dad now, and the many others who loved him, who are so thrilled to welcome him to his new “home”. May God bless and guide Carolyn and Jennie at this very difficult time.
My love and prayers to Carolyn and Jennie. Denny's passing breaks my heart and I treasure the time we all spent together in Delray in 2012. God bless you both and I know Denny is waiting to be a fourth when needed with Lois, Denny, Marge and Carl.
