Stan, Janice and I went to "The Drive" together. We never talked about the game, even as we were walking back to the car. It seemed appropriate then, and remains a topic of non-discussion. I'm sure Stan and Janice, per our unspoken agreement, have refrained from talking about it. It's now up to Janice and me to carry the torch, so to speak (or not speak). Stan, you are and always will be missed, my friend.

Stan and Jan both dear friends of my parents, Mary and Ray Steinmueller. Thoughts and prayers a are with your family at this time, our deepest sympathy. Stan made an impact on my life even as a young girl, his friendliness and smile just drew me in! Gods peace to all.
By far one of my FAVORITE people ever in my long association at Rubber & Plastics News was Stan. A happy memory among hundreds: The Italian cookies from Ninni's Bakery that Stan brought around at the holidays! Stan always bent over backwards for Nannette, Mona, Bob and myself at RPN. One of God's very best humans ever!
As we all move forward we will continue to remember Stan Fish with his super great smile and his enormous love for life and mankind. Stan will be dearly missed!
My Love and Deepest Sympathies to Jan, David, Brian and Family.

To Jan, and David.
I remember the Akron Craftsmen Club Presedential Ball may years ago at the old Holiday Inn. We went swimming after the dance, and then we were asked to leave the pool, finding we had been on their TV in the lobby for everyone to watch. Good times.

Fish Family -
My thoughts are with you during this very difficult time. Stan was a stalwart of the family -- encouraging, compassionate, and caring. His smile would radiate a room and he always kept everyone on their toes with countless jokes.
I will miss him very much, as I often engaged in conversations with him about school, family, and our shared love for sports.
Your continued support of one another and togetherness during this time is something that Stan would be extremely proud of.
Love to all,
Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

I am so sorry to hear of passing of your father. May your memories comfort you during this difficult time.
Each week walking into my office with one question? "Who won?" The answer, "Notre Dame!" On their way to the 1988 National Championship and Stan knew the answer....
“May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And the rain fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of his hand”
Our sincere condolences to all the family
