The Waickman Family,
My first experience on snow skis was with Bill. Skiing has become a lifelong passion that I have passed onto my children. Also, my first whitewater. Many a Risk game too. Bill was always warm hearted and soft-spoken. A kind and gentle soul. I am deeply saddened by his passing. My condolences go out to his family and all of us that had the honor to know him. I can hear his voice even now.
I worked with Bill at NGS and considered him to be a personal friend, having first met him in Akron almost 20 years ago. I had great respect for him as a person and as a fellow worker. He was one of a very few people I could go to with a technical/software problem, knowing he would be able to understand why it was a problem and help find a solution thanks to his rare combination of skill, ability and work ethic. I can still hear him saying "Git-r-done", and that's what he did. Life was always better with Bill on your team. He lives on in my memories, may he live on in yours, too.
I remember Bill as well from our days at FS & T, and was very saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
I worked with Bill and very much enjoyed his candor and personality. He was a wonderful, gentle soul.

On those occasions when our paths crossed in the office, I appreciated Bill's sense of humor and irony. He had an intense wit. Without Bill's unique viewpoint, the world is less vibrant.
I remember Bill from the Fairlawn Swim & Tennis club days. He always stopped by to have a short, pleasant conversation. He was a good guy.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and the family.
Bill was always so quick to offer his expert help. He would hear me complain about something and the next thing I knew he'd have a suggestion and fix for me. I will truly miss him.
Dear Marie and Family, Sad to learn your news. Chris and I send our condolences and look forward to seeing you at Guardian Angels this spring. Chris and Kathie VanDevere

My grandmother, Ella Mumper, spoke highly of the Waickman family. Many many years past she took care of some of the Waickman children. My sympathy to Marie and all the family at this time.
Bill was a hard worker for NGS, his expertise will be surely missed. I enjoyed being his friend, conversationalist, and co-worker. Bill got things done for all of us at NGS. Goodbye my friend!
I am shocked. May he have a leg in heaven 'ere the devil knows he's dead. Fair Winds, Following Seas and Godspeed!
