Anthony Latona Obituary
Anthony Latona, 88, of Manchester, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Hospice Care Center.
Born in Wooster to the late Anthony and Elsie Latona, he was a graduate of the College of Wooster, a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during World War II and was also a member of Grace Bible Church. Anthony worked until he was 80 years old for BF Goodrich and then Chemionics.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Norma (Rehm) Latona; children, Mike (Pam) Latona, Judy (Gary) Persing and Jeanne (Dan) Snyder; six grandchildren, Geoff, Spencer, Olivia, Angie, Zach and Nathan; sister, Marge Baker.
Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY, January 30, 2014, 12 Noon, at Grace Bible Church, 5781 Manchester Rd., New Franklin, Pastor Jerry Harpool officiating. Burial at Crown Hill Cemetery, Orrville. I had the pleasure to work with Tony many years ago at Goodrich. He was one of the nicest people, and was always knowledgeable and helpful. Our prayers are with him and his family.
