Doris Reischman Obituary
Doris I. Reischman, (nee Mattingly) 84 of Clinton, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at The Laurels of Massillon. Affectionately called Pinky, she loved all things Pink!! She worked 20 years at The Chapel Hill Retirement Community, prior to her retirement several years ago.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Rollie and Mary Theresa; husband, Thomas J., whom she celebrated 58 years of marriage prior to his death in 2004; two brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by her sister, Ruth and ten children, Cheryl Pickton, Diane (Byron) Nelson, Mary (Dan) Nettle, Jean (David) Sayre, Joan (Ted) Geiger, Michael, Thomas, Barbara (Larry) Steiner, Rebecca Kerr and Andrea (David) Schaub. She will be fondly remembered by her 21 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
At her request there will be NO calling hours and a private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

Aunt Doris was special to me. I am grateful for the care and concern that she had for me and my family throughout our lives. It made a difference. Our heartfelt sympathy to the family.

As I sit quietly today in rememberence of Aunt Doris I weep in sadness that she is gone from us but also weep in joy knowing she is in the arms of our father in heaven and with our loved ones who have gone before her. May peace be with her family near and far. She will never be forgotton. God Bless.....

Finding the right words to describe Aunt Doris is not easy. She was larger-than-life! She loved with a big heart and open arms. I have many heartfelt and happy memories of going to the farm during my teenage years - laughing a lot and having a great time with the family. She enriched my life greatly.There was only one Aunt Doris, and I will never forget her.
