Earl Cline Obituary
Born in Barberton, he had been a Barberton-Canal Fulton resident his entire life, retiring from Akron Energy Systems in 2012. Earl was a member of the Canal Fulton VFW #9795 and Kenmore Victory Lodge #649. Earl enjoyed fishing and was a proud Army Veteran having served during Vietnam.
Preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Edith Cline and mother and father-in-law, Margaret and Lester Lenox, he is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Karen; sons, Michael (Kelly) and Richard (Jennifer); grandsons, Benjamin, Brenton and Braden; sister, Karen (Dan) Fronk; and numerous nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013, 3 to 6 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt 93), Canal Fulton. Inurnment Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

Each day I drive past where Earl lived, I remember the large flag flying. I see Earl standing in and near the garage entrance. He enjoyed looking over his spacious lawn, enjoying the view atop the hill. I still see him standing there awaiting everyone who passes by and smiling to all.

Earl was one of closest friends in the Army in Germany. I am so sorry to read of his passing.He was a great guy and I know he will be missed. God bless his family and friends.
