Miss you just as much as always. More focused on it today but you really are on my mind daily. Sometimes it hurts and it´s sad and frustrating that you´ve missed so much!! Sometimes it´s just remembering good things or your words of wisdom popping into my head when needed. In some ways I guess you could say I got used to you being gone and in other ways I feel I miss you more and not less over time. I try to think of you extra at bedtime because one night I had a dream with you. It wasn´t a crazy or strange dream, it was just normal us having coffee and talking. I keep trying to make that happen again. Maybe tonight will be the night. Anyway, I love you, Grandma Jean. XOXOXO

Im not sure if the point of a legacy guest book is to come back and comment every so often but I guess thats what I feel like doing so... Alissa is 19 now and her memory of you is fading and random which I guess is normal but I hate it!! On a positive note , she is doing so well!! She works so hard with school and work! Everything you taught me to teach her is playing out well!! With the occasional hick up of course which is to be expected I suppose cuz like I said shes 19! Anyway, youre missing so much! Like, I married nick and we have two little boys, Jayden 7 and Jackson 3. You would adore them. They are adorable and ornery and oh so smart!! isaac and Brandise got married. Michael had a baby girl named Cali, shes 10 months now. Ava and Gretchen moved about 4 minutes from me and are doing great! But the thing youd love most is that my dad has been sober for over 5 years now!!! I know thats a lot of information and those are only the highlights. There is so many day to day little things too. Good and bad that I wish I could call and tell you. And I typed it all so random but thats because I had a bottle of wine with aunt Elaine tonight because Im sad because I havent seen you for 7 years and Im struggling with that! Anyway, I know life goes on and it has so Ill try to only be consumed for today as the last time I saw you and tomorrow the day you died and then Ill resume normal daily missing you. Well I guess that covers the most important stuff. I love you so much and still miss you everyday! Like you always said about the grief of missing your parents, you never get over it, you just get used to it. So, until next time I update your guest book!! Xoxoxo

To all of you whom Jean loved so dearly......words can't begin to express how much she will be missed! She was like a sister to me. In 40+ years of friendship I can't think of any disagreements or harsh words between us. We always came away from visits or conversations feeling better and uplifted! We will always treasure knowing Jean and will miss her. Thankfully, you all have loving, wonderful memories to draw on and keep you strong at this sorrowful time.

Elaine, David, Johnny and Teresa and family - there are no words I can say that will take away the pain you feel right now .... I know that you realize how lucky you were to have a mother like yours... Her family was her world, and she loved you all so much it really showed... and I know she meant so much to each of you too. They say that the more a person is loved and needed, the more they will be missed - and I know your mom will be dearly missed by many! Hopefully all the good memories will help you during this time... You are all in my thoughts

Mom, you are the kindest person I know and there is no word to describe how much I already miss you. I am trying to follow your words of wisdom right now: "Elaine, you cannot think of 2 things at once" - your advice when I am sad. I love you.
