Matthew Alan Butti, 54 of Canal Fulton died Monday, Nov. 4, 2013.
Memorial Service will be held FRIDAY, 1 p.m. at HighPoint Christian Church, 2545 West Comet Road in Clinton with John Stahl officiating. Friends may call FRIDAY, from 12 (noon) until time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. I was in Matt's brother's class at WHS, and my little brother, Tim, was in Matt's class. They were freshman when we were seniors, and even though it was our job to ignore the freshman, Matt was one of those kids who made us smile just by being around him. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family! May God give you comfort now and in the months and years ahead!

I'm so sad to hear of Matt's passing. We both went to First Christian Church all through our school years, and we played trumpet together in the WHS Band. Even though we rarely saw each other over the past 30+ years, I still remember him as a good friend.

Matthew is missed by so many at Aultman Hospital. He was so kind. When he asked how you were or how your day was going he truly cared and wanted to know. He cared so much for his 3 prized girls he called them. They are his pride and joy. And his love for animals and music. I sure will miss all of his stories and his smiling face and love for life. Matthew was honestly one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He never spoke negative words but instead shared wonderful stories about the daughters he was so proud of, and the animals that he loved taking care of. He treated everyone with respect and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be missed greatly!
