It was with sadness that I read of Dick's passing. Always got a fair deal, fine fellowship and great knowledge in the shop. I'll always continue to be a customer.

I first met Dick when I was released from active duty in 69. Later when he opened his store in CFO, I listened to some stories. He always had time for his customers and never badgered you into any decision. Tom, Rita, Chuck and Gary, I'll miss him as you will.

Sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I'm certainly glad that Kathy and I got to see him within the last year. I'll always remember him and my time spent learning about the firearms that he and I both enjoyed. We've all lost an institution with his passing. He was special and that's what made Dick's Gun Room special.

Rita, Tom, and family,

I am so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. Mine, as well as my father's (Donald Davis Sr's) condolences, are with you. I fondly remember visiting the store with my father when I was a child in the 70's and 80's. I continued that tradition when I became of legal age to possess a firearm and even purchased a couple guns and plenty of ammo from Dick's. I NEVER felt like I was going into a STORE. I felt like I was going to a FRIEND'S HOUSE that happened to be a gun dealer. We will both miss him.
