Coach Tyree helped show hundreds of boys how a real man looked and acted. All those whose lives he touched were better for those lessons. More than 45 years later and I can still feel his influence.

Coach Tyree is one of the teachers you remember forever. One of my memories is from PE Class. There he stood with all his muscles telling the boys, "You will learn to square dance, and you'll have fun." And of course they did..

To this day I benefit from the life lessons I learned from coach Tyree. It was a blessing to have known him.

I am late to responding to this as I just saw this site.

Nevertheless, even many months after Coach's passing, words and thoughts are still hard to express. I was with Rick Hanna and we both stopped by to see Coach at Silver Lake when I was in town last summer. He was his usual effervecent self.

To say he will be missed is stating the obvious.

God Bless and Keep you Coach!
