Paul Parks Obituary
Paul R. Parks "Rick", 56, of North Lawrence, passed away June 15, 2014 peacefully in his sleep.
Rick was a graduate of Green High School and was employed by InnoSource, working with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul L. Parks; stepfather, Albert Caprez; and brothers Gary L. Parks and Tracy John Parks.
Rick is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 22 years, Ronda Parks; daughters, Felicia (Kevin) Doan and Lorna Parks; son, Paul P. (Mercedes Kavalchek) Parks; granddaughter, Kylee Doan; mother, Grace Caprez; sister, Cathy (Frank) Edwards; step sister, Michele (Rob Crossley) Caprez; stepbrother, Gregg (Michelle) Caprez; mother-in-law, Janet Yochheim; brothers-in-law, Dan (Connie) Kleckner and George (Kelly) Kleckner; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Frank Smith) Wilson, Denise (Don Sanner) Claar and Debra Parks; and many caring aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Green Valley United Methodist Church, 620 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., Green, Ohio, with Rev. William Liming of Tallmadge United Methodist Church officiating. The family will receive visitors Saturday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Chippewa Excellence in Education Foundation (Parks fund), 56 N. I was saddened to hear of Paul's passing. I thought the world of Paul and always have since we first met while working at Goodyear. He was like a kid brother to me. He was such a gentle soul. I am at a loss for words. May The Lord comfort you and hold you all close during this most difficult of times. Paul loved you all so much.

I've lost a brother. My deepest condolance to you Rhonda. Distant as I am, Rick has has been, and will be, a great influence on my life. He, like his father, mother, brothers and sister - have been part of my prayers and love all my life.

Although I did not know Paul, I do know your pain. I lost my best friend & husband of 29 years on May 24th,he was just 57. I just wanted you to know that you are in my prayers.
