Thomas Helmick Obituary
Thomas "Tommy" Helmick, 50, of Rittman, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 8, 2014.
He was born in Massillon and had been a life resident of the Dalton, Massillon and Rittman areas. A 1982 graduate of Dalton High School, he worked at HAD in Rittman and was a member of the American Legion in Doylestown. He enjoyed his Harley and lived to ride.
Tommy is survived by his loving companion, Susan Haddox; father, Arnold (Jan) Helmick; mother, Earline (the late Jack) Rowles; sister, Elizabeth Helmick; brother, Arnold Helmick, Jr.; sisters, Amelia (Dave) Wise and Rose (Randy) Roberts; brother, William Helmick; nieces and nephews.
Funeral service WEDNESDAY, 11 a.m. at the Wintergreen Ledges Church of God, 1889 Vernon Odom Blvd., Akron, OH 44320, with Pastor Jim Roma officiating. Burial at Clinton Cemetery. Friends may call TUESDAY, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton), and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church.
