Mr.Gross, Victor, a kind and loving man who I had the honor to work with and later call a friend. I stopped getting a Christmas card from you, and I just knew that you went home. I used to look forward to getting that card, it made my day. I never had the pleasure of visiting you at your home in Florida, though invited, the timing was always off. Now I live here, and would have come to visit often. I will always remember you with a smile on my face, and a happy heart. May you rest in peace, and thank you for being a part of my life.

Scott and family,
So sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was a very good friend to my parents and myself. My father ALWAYS spoke very highly of Vic and had GREAT respect. I personally was grateful for his help after returning home from a sad time in my life. God be with you

We have lost a dear friend, mentor and role model. I met Vic eight years ago, in common concern of an issue at Temple Emeth, Delray Beach. We found many common interests as well as a mutual respect, which led to an ever deepening friendship, a regular lunch 2-3 times a month. We came to considerVic as “family”. My wife Carolyn met him a year later, and he quickly invited her to visit the Sculpture Studio. She went for a “look” and Vic wouldn't allow her to just watch. After asking if she found it interesting, he quickly gave her a piece of marble and said, “Now make something.” Despite her protests, she began to work and was hooked by Vic and sculpture. Over the ensuing four years, until the Studio closed, she was there every week and became Victor's adhoc administrator for the Studio.

He was a beautiful person, His infectious smile, his constant optimism, his charity, friendship and sage advice will never fade from our memory. He taught us that aging doesn't mean you have to grow old. Our sincere condolences to the family. His passing leaves a large void in our lives, but we're sure his smile will brighten the heavens. Rest in peace, Vic.

Larry & Carolyn Garter.
