William Lucas Obituary
William L. Lucas, 68 of Canton, formerly of Akron died Monday, September 21, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born April 26, 1947 in Akron to the late Eldon and Ruth (Adkins) Lucas.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, worked as a diesel mechanic for 30 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union.
William is survived by his wife, Anna Marie; children, William, Edward and Terri; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren; siblings, Eldon, Paul, Mary, Alice, Robert, Delores, Frank and Marsha; and dear friends Dale, Billiejoe, Beulha and Bill.
A Memorial Visitation will be held SUNDAY, October 4, 2015 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry St. (Rt.93, Canal Fulton). Sorry so late, but just found out when Bill's sister came into Long John Silvers for lunch and told me. She asked me if I remember you from playing bingo at Wilbeth road bingo hall and I said yes and that was when she told me.
