To the Box Family, words can't express the depth of our sympathy. From afar in DC, you have our hearts and thoughts. With Love, Cara and Marek Rich

A gentle giant gone to soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will never forget the times shared with you all as the OKC Panthers traveling and playing basketball. No matter how many times Austin was filed his expression did not change. One lasting memory is Harold waking me up during his Christmas break saying mom I saw Austin tonight. I will miss looking for him on Saturdays. Wilson Family, Midwest City, Oklahoma

To Austin's Family, I am moved to write to you again. We are O.U. Football Parents. Our Son is Matt Wilson # 67, a walk on from North Carolina. Austin was a help to Matt and as Matt puts it "AUSTIN WAS ALWAYS a FRIEND TO ME." Matt is crushed with the loss of his Friend and Teammate. He knows the devastation upon a family when a Child and a Brother is gone too soon to Heaven. Matt lost his Brother (our oldest Son out of 3 boys)when Matt was 15 yrs old. C.J. was 21 yrs. Matt knows what it is to lose a Brother and his parents a Son. If We or Matt can be of Comfort to You, Please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be here for you for eternity. As I sit here and read the entries in Austin's Guestbook, I am so moved at the fact that Austin touched so many lives. And I know this is just a small portion of the lives he has touched from the moment he was born to You as your Child and to his Sisters-your Brother. I know our Son, Matt, spoke highly of Austin always, and we felt like we knew Austin through Matt and from watching Austin on the field. I wish that I could turn back the hands of time and bring him back to you. I am devastated for you. I know that Austin is in Heaven with the LORD and our Son , C.J.is there with him. I know they are having the Time of their eternal lives and doing perfect...and I know - HEAVEN IS MUCH RICHER with AUSTIN there but here we are much more poor with him gone from this earth.
We are here for you at anytime. I will attach my email if there is anytime you want to contact us.
May GOD HOLD YOU ALL SO VERY TIGHT IN HIS CARE,
MAY GOD BLESS YOU AS ONLY HE CAN,
LOVE,
Catherine Wilson

To the Box Family and Friends
May God give you strength and hope during these dark times. The light will return and you will be able to cherish the time with Austin. He was a favorite player of mine because he so reminded me of my brother who played for the Sooners in the 70's. A small town Oklahoma boy living the dream of so many young boys who play football by getting to play for the Sooners. He is was the epitome of OU Football. We, as fans don't know these young men personally, but as an OU fan they seem to become family. His courage, grit and determination was admirable. He truly will be missed, so our prayers and sympathies are with you. May God Bless you all.

I am so sorry for your loss, as Austin was a great role model for my son and for me. He will be greatly missed from our place here on earth but is now on a much bigger team with the Lord.

To The Box Family.
May god bless you and your family. We have followed Austin and the sooner for years. Me my wife and son got to watch the sooners play OSU in Norman a couple of years ago and my son thought the world of Austin. He is 12 years old and played little league football here in Richmond Texas and his dream is to play football for the Sooners one day. Thank you for having a Son that was such a great role model for my son. We will always remember Austin and you'll will always be in our prayers.
