Feb 29, 1924 - Feb 22, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Betty, 88, was called to her Heavenly home on Feb. 22, 2013. The daughter of Roy & Calantha Van Vacter, she was born Feb. 29, 1924, in Oklahoma City, OK. In spring of 1942, she graduated from Capitol Hill H.S. and went on to work as a bookkeeper in the accounting department of Anderson-Pritchard Oil Company. On October 6, 1973, she married Charles C. Stueve, and they celebrated nearly 40 years together. Betty was a member of Wilmont Place Baptist Church for many years; and she enjoyed playing table games such as bridge, canasta, and was an avid gardener. Betty was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend, and she will be remembered with love and smiles. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Laura Jane Taylor; and by earlier husbands, Mr. Baker and Mr. Reed. Betty leaves behind husband, Charles Stueve (OKC); two sons, Toney Reed (Nicaragua), and Thomas H. Baker Jr. (Florida); three grandchildren; and numerous friends and loved ones. Services to celebrate her life will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Rose Hill Burial Park.
