Even though it's been 5 years and while we're still praying and waiting for justice to come, I know, in my heart, that Carol is safe with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. According to God's Word, His timing and His justice is perfect. His love for us is never ending. Knowing these things gives us hope and peace.

To the family of Pastor Daniels, our family thinks of your family and Carol frequently. We have never met before, but our family also has lost a family member to homicide in Oklahoma. Like your case, our's remains unsolved as well.

I am so terribly sorry for what has happened in your family. Pastor Daniels sounds like an amazing woman and I am inspired by what she accomplished in her life.

Blessings to you.

I never met Pastor Daniels and only know what I have read. I have been very impressed. To drive to a church in another town every Sunday on the chance someone might wish to hear the word of God makes her truly one of his children and I believe with my heart that he is blessing her now. To her family I can only say that I believe she would want you to be happy and continue in your good works. May God richly bless her in heaven.

A shocking event that I read about over coffee at McDonald's last summer and have tried to follow up on any news; not easy from British Columbia. I visited in OKC in the 1970's and met some great Christians there.
An incredibly evil act in Anadarko. Jesus said not to fear them that can kill the body but can't harm the soul...

December 19, 2009

To The Family,

May the blessings of the Lord be upon each of you as you began the healing process. It is not easy to lose a love one, especially in the manner as our beloved (Pastor) Evangelist Carol Daniels.

She was my Friend, and I, her's. She shall never be forgotten.

I sat and thought . . . from this tragic event, she touched the lives of many thousands, more than she had reached in life . . . remarkable. The wonders and greatness of God.

A family of believers. I shall never forget her grandmother, the late Evangelist Josie Hill, a powerful woman with a voice of tremendous volumne. I see a mental picture of her now, saying loudly, "you need to be saved!" Carol's message too, was Salvation.

Well, Mother Charles Etta Dunlap, Sister Lavera Nelson, Children, and all others . . . we have much to be thankful for, because she spent her Time and Season in the Vineyard helping others. Is there a greater mission than this?

I think not . . . . .

Sincerely and lovingly,
An Old Friend,

Eld. C.D. Knowles, Jr.

PS: I haven't forgotten . . . fondly, here, you were my Evangelist, and there, I was your Deacon.

December 9, 2009

October 27, 2009

To The Family of the late, beloved Pastor Carol Daniels:

Although, I didn't personally know her, she is my sister in Christ. She is not here physically but, her spirit lives on through each and every one of you, through the lives of others whom she touched, even through her tragic death.

What the devil does for evil, the Lord takes it and turns it into good. Remember that she did not live her life in vain.

The Word of God says: "Fear nothing that you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is indeed about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested and proved and critically appraised, and for ten days you will have affliction. Be loyally faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life." Revelations 2:9-11

Pastor Carol Daniels' crown is HUGE and she is proudly wearing it.

Minister Angela Echols, Seattle, WA.

I didn't know Rev. Daniels, but I am deeply grieved about her martrydom. Although I know she is a highly decorated heroine in heaven, a noble warrior who's feet were shod with the Gospel of peace and her heart filled with love and faith, her manner of transport stands to testify for the detestable darkness resident in some human souls, that very thing she lived and died to deliver them from.

We only knew Carol for a short 9 years. We knew her to be a wonderful Christian person. She performed the wedding cerimony for our daughter Linda and son-in-law Leonard Dunlap Sr.
It broke our hearts to see her life cut short but we know she's with the Lord and someday we'll all meet again.
May God bless the family.

Our family will never be the same without your beautiful mother. She worked tirelessly for God and lovingly cared for our family. Every one of us has a story we could share about something she did for us-some need she filled.
Our loss is great and our hurt is deep but we still have the love of God, each other, the prayers of Christian friends and many precious memories.
We want you to know that we love you and are here for you whenever you need us.

As a pastor and minister of the Word of our great God, I have seen much in my 27 years of ministry. However words cannot display nor tears release the sorrow I, my family, and congregation feel in the passing of Minister Daniels.

There are times when you don't have an answer. This is one of those times. But I do say to the family, take consolation in God's Word. He has told us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He also promised to be with us always. It is left to us now to honor her by living our lives in such a way that God will be glorified and her memory maintained in the minds and hearts of those who know her and will know her through the strong and true witness of the saints. May God keep your spirits uplifted as we will lift you in prayer. Always remember that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.

I don't know Pastor Daniels. I reside in Dallas, Texas. I read about her horrific story online in our local newspaper. I sincerely send my prayers out to her family, friends and church family as well. I am also praying for the individual responsible for ending the physical life of one of God's chosen children. Pastor Daniels still lives on in heaven and in the hearts and lives of those she touched both personally and spiritually. If we ever needed God before, we certainly need Him now. It's time out for playing. The devil is yet busy and we as saints of God have to stay on our knees and put the devil on the run. God Bless.

To the family and friends of Pastor Daniels:

When I first saw the news regarding the tragedy, I was very saddened and felt such pain in my heart. I never knew her but she is my sister in Christ. She passed on to heaven just like the many Apostles in the past before her..Paul, Timothy etc.. I know that God did not allow her to feel the pain that was caused by whoever did this to her. She is now with God in a beautiful place.

I know that she will be dearly missed by so many. Both of my parents passed away and am only 36 years old, but what warms my heart is knowing that they are in heaven.

Words can only say so much but my heart says much more. Seek comfort in the arms of our Lord in the time of your grief. She was a solider for Christ and now is with Him.

Sending love, thoughts and prayers across the miles.

A great woman of God who was faithful to the end. She had the kind of faith that went beyond sight. She believed God and was faithfully driving back and forth 60 miles to church despite her being the only one there most of the time. That takes faith! She is now resting in Jesus waiting for the rapture! May the Lord give the family peace and comfort on He alone can give.

To the family of Pastor Daniels,

May you find the peace and understanding that can only come from God in this most difficult time.

I never met Pastor Daniels. As a son of a Pastor, I know the commitment to her calling and her devotion to Jesus Christ was and still is the catalyst for God's love many have felt through her ministry.

As a member of the Anadarko community, thank you for sharing your daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and the many other titles she was, including a Pastor, with our people in this area.

Keep us in prayer as we also search for the peace and security of this community, we know as home.

Thank you and continued blessings,

I did not know Ms. Daniels personally, but have your family in my thoughts and prayers. Though this is the worst thing a family could ever have to go through, keep her values as your guide in this time. You cannot change what has been done, but you can learn from it and honor her by seeing that what she stood for continues. Concentrate on that goal and allow others to deal with the circumstances of her death. As a mother, I think that's what she would want.
