Rest in Peace, CSM. Thank you for all you did for the ROTC cadets at WT, especially the Rifle Team. Because of your skill at teaching map reading, a lot of us never got "lost in the woods." You were always, and in all ways, "The Professional" we looked to for advice. Thank you for making a difference. You will never be forgotten. God bless you and your family.

To my loved Uncle Dailey Brown. I go tto see you the night before you went to heaven. One time aMany years ago, our family Venita and Ernest Shannon brought us kids tdown to Odessida Texas. You were still playing Army. lol You took our family on a hike and Shirley and I got to play iwth the "boys" We were supposed to be "roughing it" Shirley and I hung a flashlight from the Snap-together tent by the snaps on top. I remember bring Girly stuff into our tent! It was a lot of fun. I wished I had told you how much fun this was for me. I will miss you , but knowing that I will see you again and I will have a 2nd chance, I love you and miss you. Love your Favorite Niece, Shelma Shannon-White

Dailey became like a member of our family in his high school years when he worked for my parents in Pate's Grocery in Refugio. He and his best friend, Darrell Mahan, co-signed my parents' will. I had not been able to locate him in internet searches. I am sorry for your loss.
