A very admired Oklahoman--3 D Danny
February 25, 2014
Thank you Danny Williams for the wonderful memories of talk, music, good times and laughter you provided me growing up.

Danny Williams has been a part of the lives of Oklahomans for decades. He brought much enjoyment to my family each Saturday night hosting Championship Wrestling with Leroy McGuirk. My siblings and I were at those matches vicariously watching the likes of Bolo, Oni Wiki Wiki, Cowboy Bill Watts, Irish Mike Clancy and Haystacks Calhoun.
Then in the 60's, Mr. Williams was the voice associated with the best music ever - reaching out to bring some diversion to the war around us. Later, his humor greeted commuters and made our mornings a little brighter as we traveled to work each weekday. Thank you Mr. Williams for touching the lives of your fellow Oklahomans in so many ways for so many years. You live on in our memories.

I will never forget 3D Danny--my favorite after school hero. We always rushed home just to watch him and Bazark on Channel 4. Everyone loved him, I miss him just thinking about it. He made growing up easier. Won't ever forget you!
