Unfortunately due to an illness I was unable to attend Gary's funeral. Gary was my best friend for the last 20 years. He was a great friend; a great husband, father, grandfather, and a great American. He believed in our Country and believed we were not the same great Nation that we had been in the past. Gary and I sometimes disagreed on topics but it never interfered with our friendship and that was one of the great thing about Gary....he recognized and appreciated differences in opinion....as long as it wasn't too different. Gary, Sandy, my wife and I had so many good times together I wouldn't know where to start but Italy, Hot Springs, Eureka Springs AR, Four Seasons in Dallas, the Pacific Coast Highway and Cancun to name a few. He was the only neighbor that I ever had that I could go over and borrow a cup of bourbon. I loved him like a brother and I will miss him every day. It breaks my heart that I couldn't be at his funeral.
