I worked for him when UCO was still Central State Univeristy. The finest President I have ever worked for. man. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
He was a great man and teacher.
In 1972 Dr. Lillard came to the school where I was serving as an assistant principal and asked me to serve as principal
of Rogers Middle School. In all my 30 years in education that was my fondest memory. That was also the year of forced bussing in OKC, He always quoated Dicken's during this period" This is the best of times and it is the worst of times" Rest in peace.---Bruce Miller
Thanks Dr. Lillard, the man I have met and respect in my early years in America. You are a great role model... God Bless...
Dr. Lillard,as vice-principal of Classen High School when I was a student there in the late fifties, was a role model who exemplified seriousness of purpose tempered by kindness. His later brilliant administrative career was a testimonial to these--and his many other--fine qualities. He was a good man who contributed much to many in the course of his life and career.
To my mentor and friend. May you rest in peace. Thank you for your wise counsel throughout my career.
Thank you for all your service to CSU/UCO. I was honored to meet you while a student at UCO. My prayers to your family.
Thank you Dr. Lillard for your influence at Classen High School. As an office aide, I was very impressed by your kindness towards everybody.
Thanks Dr. Lillard for serving as Vice Principal at both Webster Jr High and Classen High in Oklahoma City (1954-1959) while I was a student at both schools. You had an important influence on my life.
Rest in peace. A great teacher and inspiration to others in education.
