We met David and Georgia when he was at Ponca Military Academy and it was the beginning of a lasting and caring friendship. David did light up a room, and had the ability to make one feel they were the most important one to David. We have so many fond memories that we will treasure forever. Thanks, Steve, for your loving care and our thoughts are with you.

Dave Perfect was so much fun! Our family would watch OU football games at his house! My dad went to several games with Dave and several others. He always had so much fun. I loved hanging out at the Perfect Burger. Great time and great food! Now I work across the street from where it was and I think of Dave all the time. He and Georgia were the best people. Dave took me to Alva to see Northwestern. We had so much fun on that trip. I met his mom and several family members. I loved Alva and the Rangers and graduated from Northwestern in 1981! I met my wife at NW and I had a blast attending school and I really enjoyed the town of Alva too. I owe it all to Dave! Steven you have been a great son. Your parents were always so proud of you. Take care, love Rich Cantillon, Bob and Nida Austin's son! The Perfects will always be important to us!!
I first met David when I was in High school in Ponca City OK. He was a police officer his first year at that time. We all really liked David he was a wonder person. He loved the game of golf and I had the privileged to play with him several times at Lew Wentz golf course. I am sorry for you loss of David he will be in my Prayers.
Dave and I lived across the street from each other on 75th for many years. Dave was always kind and cheerful and he uplifted the spirits of those around him. How many times have I seen him and Doyle Ford in the early morning putt-putting down the street in their cart headed for Lake Hefner to play golf. I hope his last years in Florida were happy. I will always remember Dave fondly and may his family be blessed by his memory.
God bless you all at this difficult time.
Dave was one of my favorite people to see at Hefner golf course. He actually came by and told me the day he was told by the doctor. I hope he had some great times in Florida his last few years with his son. He brightened up many a day for me at Hefner!!! Bill LeGrand
