I loved Donnie Bolen! One of the most stand up people I have ever met! God Bless the Bolen family!
Donnie, gave me my first job out of college at Bolen Olds. I can remember him coming in the dealership and asking " what are we selling?" He was a good man. I am glad to have known him.
Our condolences to your family. Don was a kind and generous man and a wonderful friend to OU Track & Field.

God bless you and comfort you in your loss. It was so good to see Donnie at the reunion last summer. He will be missed by many.
Don Bolen was such a hoot! I met him when I helped take care of Fanny's Aunt Katherine during her later years of life. I thought the world of him and will always remember his kindness to me. My condolences to his family.
Donnie was such a great guy and he will be missed by so many. He never failed to put a smile on my face. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
What a wonderful man he was, always in a good mood and so fun. He will be missed and kisses Fanny.
What a great man. He was a great friend and supporter of the Oklahoma City Blazers and always made me smile when I went and saw him. He made my wife and I feel very special as a young couple. We loved him to death.
Fanny, I just received an email from a friend with the sad news of Donnie's passing. I didn't know he had been ill so I didn't know anything about his recent struggles. But I do know how much you loved him and how he "made your light shine".
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. All my love, Amy Underwood (Formerly Amy Brooks)

I lost a Good Friend and customer this week. I wish the whole world could have been given the chance to have met Don. You will be surely missed each day of the rest of my days.
Until we meet again My Friend.
May the Good Lord Bless Don and his Family.
It is with great sadness on learning of the passing of an old friend who'll always be remembered for his jovial personality and high integrity. The Lord will certainly bless and welcome this good man! My sympathies to Fanny and the family...he'll be missed.
I am heartbroken to have heard this tradgic news. Don was a wonderful, kind, giving man and my former employer. Prayers given to all friends and family of his. He will truly be missed. His gentle soul will never be forgotten.
Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, loved Don... You don't say that about many people. He had that very rare quality where you knew there would never be another like him. He loved God, he loved his family, he loved his friends. We all admired his loyalty, his unique sense of humor, and his character reflected one of my favorite quotes, "doing the right thing when nobody is looking". I will miss you dearly, Don.
The World has Lost a Great Man...
Heaven has Gained Another Angel.
Don is truly one of the Nicest People I have had the Pleasure of Calling My Friend.
My heart is broken for Fanny, Nelson, Bebe and their families.
My heart is broken for Don's Beautiful Grandbabies
who were cut short of a Grandpa who adored them.
My heart is broken for the loss of someone so genuine, caring and kind.
My heart is broken for my daughters who looked forward to every visit with Don.
Michael and I are better people for knowing such a wonderful man.
We were blessed with an extended stay with Don, because of the kindness and selfless act of a donor.
May God Bless Your Family.
We will forever miss you Don.
Until we meet again.
Don was my big brother at Phi Gamma Delta/OU, he was a great guy and always kept everyone laughing. Donnie was a life long friend, I will miss him a lot.
My brother and myself worked for the Bolens back in the 70's and they were the best bosses that a person could have. Donnie would always joke with us about everything and made it fun to work with him. The Bolen family was a great bunch of people. I bought my first car from them and he gave me a deal that I couldn't refuse.
Don was a unique man in that he was strong and consistent through tough times and good times. He was a Christian and lived his faith in his dealings in business and with family and friends. I've never known a finer man. I will sincerely and truly miss him.
Don was a Loyal Fiji over the years and someone that you could trust in the car business. He had a great sense of humor and will be missed.
Don, You're the Man! You struggled for so long. Farewell my friend.
Thought and prayers with Donnie and family. He was a wonderful person.
I will miss you my true friend. I will smile when I think of the great times when had growing up. Fanny, you know I loved him as a brother. You and your family are in my prayers. Love Rusty
Don, Frank and I grew up together as neighbors in Crown Heights. What a wonderful family they had. I'm so sad to see Don leave us-I loved him.
