It's my hope that some day soon someone will work with your family to write your biography, Harvey, and share personal stories about what it was like to know you. In an interview once you said you wanted to be remembered as a good Dad, a good husband, and a good person. May God bless those wishes. I pray for all who continue to hurt from the loss of you. May they know without a doubt that you are now safe from all evil, and dwelling in perfection with the Father. You were a treasure here for all of us to delight in. I can't wait to meet you in Heaven! Cheers Harvey.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.

For Harvey...

WEEP NOT FOR ME

Do not weep for me when I no longer dwell among the wonders of the earth; for my larger self is free, and my soul rejoices on the other side of pain...on the other side of darkness.

Do not weep for me, for I am a ray of sunshine that touches your skin, a tropical breeze upon your face, the hush of joy within your heart and the innocence of babes in mothers arms.

I am the hope in a darkened night. And, in your hour of need, I will be there to comfort you. I will share your tears, your joys, your fears, your disappointments and your triumphs.

Do not weep for me, for I am cradled
in the arms of God. I walk with the angels, and hear the music beyond the stars.

Do not weep for me, for I am within you;
I am peace, love, I am a soft wind that caresses the flowers. I am the calm that follows a raging storm. I am an autumns leaf that floats among the garden of God, and I am pure white snow that softly falls upon your hand.

Do not weep for me, for I shall never die, as long as you remember me...
with a smile and a sigh.

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

As a child I never ever missed the Carol Burnett Show. I loved watchinh Harvey Korman and Tim Conway and of course Carol. I always cracked up at that way the cast could not contain their laughter over Harveys comedic genius. I loved that show and everyone in it. Harvey will be missed. He appeared to be a true gentleman beneath the dresses and makeup. Thanks for the memories. Seems we just get started and before you know it---- comes the time we have to say so long. My dad told me stories of when he spent summers in Glenn with Harvey. Always wanted to contact Harvey and chat about it, but unfortunately never did. A great comedian will be missed.
June 27, 2008
Sadly another comedic genious has passed...Laughter will never be the same without the true kings & queens of comedy such as Mr.Korman, John Ritter, Lucielle Ball just to name a few.

I too am glad we had the time together...
June 19, 2008
I grew up hearing all about Harvey Korman because my family knew him as a teenager in Chicago. My cousin, Monte, who still resides in the Chicago area, is in his mid-80's and said that Harvey was like his "kid brother". Harvey used to tell my mother that "one day he was going to be famous", and, indeed he was. We had the opportunity to see him perform at The Little Theater in Sullivan, Illinois many years ago when he did a play called "Little Me". He did a wonderful job!

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and we truly hope that all of the precious memories they have of this incredible man will comfort them.
June 15, 2008
I have many fond memories of just plain old out-loud laughter at the antics of Harvey and Tim on the Carol Burnett Show, as well as other touring shows I saw them perform in. This was truly a man who loved to perform, and it came through every time he took the stage. I will miss his wonderful sense of humor, as well as the great compassion he had for others. My sympathy to the family, but I'm sure my dad - who is also in heaven -is enjoying Harvey's presence there and laughing out loud again. Thanks for the memories...
June 08, 2008
We were so blessed to have you. Just seeing you would put a smile on our face. You will never be forgotten. Thank you for all the laughs!!!! Will miss you always but you will live on forever thru your work. Rest in peace.
June 08, 2008
Thank you very much Harvey for the wonderfully funny man you were throughout your career. You made many laugh when they needed it and you will never ever be forgotten. You are in a better place where your soul is free and you are in the presence of your Lord and Savior

We saw Mr. Korman and Tim Conway at TPAC, Nashville, TN several years ago. The show was on Mr. Korman's birthday. My husband and I have for years loved his antics on the Carol Burnett Show. He was a gifted entertainer. We are thinking of his family and friends he left behind.
June 06, 2008
The world has lost a truly gifted and talented comedian! You will be missed by all! My thoughts and prayers go out to the Korman family, and friends.
June 06, 2008
There is no sadness that Heaven can not heal.
The gift of laughter, like love will survive the grief. We send love and prayers to the Korman family and friends.
June 05, 2008
That's Hedley!!!

I was so sad to hear of Harvey's passing.. I spent most of my formative years watching Harvey and Tim on the Carol Burnett show. It was always priceless to watch Tim trying to crack Harvey up.

A great talent that will be sorely missed..
June 05, 2008
thank you for all the years of laughter bless you
June 04, 2008
A true comic all star. I grew up watching and laughing along with him. He will truly be missed. My prayers go out to his family.
June 04, 2008
I was saddened to hear of his passing. He was a great actor and comedian.

I was also suprised to hear it was complications from an aortic aneurysm. My Dad had one in 1983 that ruptured. He survived 5 years after the operation to repair it. It was a miracle.

We learned that it is genetic. My brother has one also. So I hope your family is checked out. I think awareness could be heightened.

Some would say he lived a long life and had a lot of laughs. That's true but it doesn't make it any easier.

My condolences.
June 04, 2008
We will miss you. The world will never laugh the same.
June 04, 2008

June 04, 2008
I still laugh out loud when I think of how many times Tim Conway got you to break character and how hard Harvey tried to keep it together on the Carol Burnett show. I use to quote your exclamation of “HEDLEY!” say hello to Hedy Lamar! Blazing Saddles was a fabulous movie! I always enjoyed your many talented characters you played on television and on film. Rest in peace - God has a new entertainer in Heaven!
June 04, 2008
Dear Korman Family,

Please accept my sympathies on the loss of your husband and father. I know how your feeling after just losing my Dad to an illness in February. My Dad was a huge Harvey Korman/Tim Conway fan. One of his all time favorite movies was "The Longshot". I don't how many times our family would say we were "Mome" to quote Mr. Conway. Here's my Dad's brush with Harvey. My Dad worked as Chicago Policeman Downtown. To his surprise one rainy evening he was hailed down by a passerby. Thinking someone needed help, he stopped. To his surprise it was Harvey and he needed a lift. My Dad radioed in the call and told Harvey to hop in. As my Dad drove him to his destination, he told him stories and vice versa. What a thrill for my Dad at the end of the ride when Harvey told him he reminded him of a "Giant Tim Conway". Oh, my Dad was so thrilled and everytime I see one of his movies I always think of what a wonderful, gracious man and how he made a Copper's night that rainy evening. God Bless.
June 04, 2008
Dear Mr Korman,

A veteran comedian to say the least. Mr. Korman will be sadly missed by all of us who are fortunate enough to be of the age to remember him during the Carol Burnett years. Oh how we waited on Saturday evening for the show to come on and to see all the crazy little antics that went on. Mr. Korman always made you laugh out loud and long. He was a perfect fit with the rest of the cast. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Please know that your father's memory will live on through the memories of all those whose lives he touched along the way.

June 03, 2008
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Death, be not proud

Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery.
Thou art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy or charms can make us sleep as well
And better than thy stroke; why swell'st thou then?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.

To: The Family Of Harvey Korman

May God Bless And Comfort You
By: Charles G. Turner, Sr.

At times like this when we don’t know what to do
Just talk to God and he will see you through
When words sometimes just won’t do and you don’t know what to say
Just talk to God and let him have his way

When friends and family come and go
Just remember that God has an open door
At times like this when words alone won’t do
May God bless and comfort you

You'll always be loved, missed, but never forgotten.
June 02, 2008
My deepest sympathy to the Korman family, Mr. Korman was a large part of my childhood memories and I looked so forward to see how long it would take for Tim Conway to crack him up during the skits on the Carol Burnett Show. I have been asked why I have such an off the wall sense of humor and I believe I must blame on the cast of the Carol Burnett Show, because they were so crazy together. We liked to act out what we saw, but it was never vulgar for the 1960's and 1970's when I grew up, it was just fun. I wish my kids were able to experience what we had. Harvey will be dearly missed by his friends and fans. WELL DONE Mr. Korman, WELL DONE!
June 02, 2008
What a tremendously gifted and talented comic you were, Harvey. The Carol Burnett show was a staple in our house every Saturday night. You and Tim Conway were just magical together. You never could keep a straight face in most of your sketches with Tim, could you? Rest in Peace, Harvey. Heaven is a much brighter place, now that you are there.
June 02, 2008
I so hated hearing of this passing. I always watched Carol Burnett when I was younger and loved Mr. Korman's comedy and his styling. It was always hysterical to watch Carol or Tim crack him up and him try to stand there and hold it together. I would be in stitches every week. I was a HUGE fan of his and was always eager to catch any show he was a part of. He will truely be missed and we thank you for giving us such talent and allowing him to be shared with all of us.
June 02, 2008
THANK YOU FOR SHOWING OUR WORLD THE FINEST AND DEAREST SIDE OF LIFE.
June 02, 2008
I was sorry to hear of Harvey's passing. I watched all the shows he was a part of. He was very funny. He will be sorely missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

A part of my childhood.....with my Mother and her Mother, my Grandmother....full of laughter has just left us.

HE WAS THE GREATEST......he could not help but make Carol Burnett laugh...when she was in the middle of a joke.

He was so so funny.

So sorry for your loss. The world is grieving with you.

God Bless you all. R.I.P. Harvey Korman....
June 02, 2008
Oh my goodness! Mr. Korman knew how to draw a laugh out of a person just like the great Lucille Ball. I loved him in everything he did! Blazing Saddles will always be a classic to me! I know he will be missed! Thanks again for your contribution to humanity Mr. Korman

Nature

As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently, that we go
Scarce knowing if we wish to go or stay,
Being too full of sleep to understand
How far the unknown transcends the what we know.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

June 02, 2008
My deepest sympathies to the entire Korman family. I loved loved loved to watch your Dad (husband) he was hilarious. The best part of the Carol Burnett show was when they all started laughing during a skit and couldn't stop and most of the time it was Harvey who started it. Today marks the 2nd anniversary of our family losing our Dad and knowing that Harvey will be with him to make him laugh again eases the loss a little bit.
Take care all of you and know that a lot of people are thinking of you.

Part of my childhood has died. I religiously watched the Carol Burnett Show as a child and I absolutely LOVED Harvey Korman. I still giggle when I think of how many times Tim Conway got him to break character and how hard Mr. Korman tried to keep it together (that was some of the best unrehearsed/unplanned moments in television history). Say hello to Hedy Lamar (that's HEDLEY!)! Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talent with us. The world is richer for having known you.

To the family of Harvey Korman:
Add me to the list of people that Mr. Korman effected, especially in our younger years. He was always one of my favorite comedians and his sketches with Tim Conway always kept us rolling. I got to see Mr. Korman in a summer stock play in Ohio when I was just 16. I always watched any show on TV that he was in.
In your time of grief I would just like to pass on a Bible thought that has brought me comfort. We can enjoy the company of our loved ones here on this earth in the future when Revelation 21:4 is fulfilled,"And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
June 02, 2008
Staring on the Carol brunett Show Harvey Was A Knock Out. He Could Not Even Keep A Stright Face When Tim Conway Was On The Set.He Was A Funny Man As Long As I Can Remember. Now Its Time To Make Them Laugh In Heaven. R.I.P.Harvey You Will Be Sadley Missed...
June 02, 2008
Thanks for all the laughs, Harvey! It was fun to watch you trying to keep a straight face while doing a scene with Tim Conway. You gave us a lot of laughter. Rest in peace.
June 02, 2008
Harvey Korman, I loved what you brought to mankind. You can rest knowing that you made so many people laugh. I will miss you. You will never be forgotton.
June 02, 2008
I will miss the natural humor that this great comic gave to us.My greatest inspiration was always Carol Burnett as well as her cast of characters.I even attended Estelle Harmon as she advised. It was very enjoyable.God bless all of the friends and family of Mr Korman.
June 01, 2008
A showman as he was, Harvey would never expect all the gratitude that we, as viewers give to him. I still remember watching the Carol Burnett Show and laughing so hard. His "hidden" laughter alone made the show. Thank you Mr. Harvey Korman, thank you for the good times of laughter!
June 01, 2008
You made us laugh. Nothing is more precious than that. Thank you.
June 01, 2008
Any time there is a discussion of the great moments in comedy, invariably, the name of Harvey Korman is mentioned. Rhett & Scarlett, the dentist's office and the beleaguered Ed are among his best work during his Carol Burnett Show years.

The magic with Harvey was that he was an indispensable part of comedic ensembles, and made them better than they could ever have been without him.

It's a comfort to know his great work will continue to be enjoyed for years to come, thanks to DVDs and TV retrospectives -- and when he makes us laugh till we cry, we can reserve one of those tears as a loving tribute to a wonderfully funny man who shared his great talent with millions in his grateful audiences.

Job well done, Mr. Korman; rest in peace and thank you; and our sympathy and thanks to his family for sharing him with us all those years.
June 01, 2008
I will never forget you as Ret Bulter in your version ' Went with the Wind with Carol. I have watched that so many times and just fall over every time. You had such talent it's hard to name all the scenes you did that were so great. I never knew how you all got through taping a show.
You will be missed by so many.
We loved you, Harvey- God Bless You and your family.
June 01, 2008
Oh my, the tears that would roll down my face watching Harvey and Tim Conway. The endless memories those two gave. I would love to watch their faces as they would want to burst out laughing at each other, and it was pure genuine. Your father, husband, uncle, friend was just a wonderful asset to all of our life's. God Bless you all.......you truly lost a huge icon in this world........
June 01, 2008
Harvey Korman left a wonderful legacy of laughter and that is how I think he would want to be remembered. Thanks for the memories..
June 01, 2008
My sister and I used to beg our babysitter to stay up long enough to watch the Carol Burnett Show. Eventually, she and our parents gave in to a later bed time. We would laugh ourselves silly. We even resorted to audio taping the entire show so we could listen to it again and re-enact the skits.
I'm so grateful he didn't give up his dream of becoming a comedic actor. It just goes to show that diligence can pay off.
Harvey, thanks for sticking with your dream. You made our world a lot funnier!
Blessings!
June 01, 2008
thanks for the memories and you will always be remember as a great guy
June 01, 2008
Thank you Mr Korman for laughter that filled our house through many trials. We loved it when you laughed at the antics of your fellow cast members. Our sympathy to the Korman family!
June 01, 2008
To the family of Harvey Korman,

When I was young and allowed to stay up I would watch him perform on the Carol Burnett show and every time I would watch whichever skit was going on, it was watching him at the brink of laughter at the antics of Tim Conway, Carol, or Vicki Lawrence. I may not remember the names of the characters, it was all Korman entertaining the masses. Whether it be with Mel Brooks or Blake Edwards in films, they, the directors, were giving the audience a proven star at the art of comedy and spontaneous laughter. He was an proven drama actor with his rendition of Bud Abbott in the movie about " Bud and Lou, " his reaction of the finding out of Lou Costello's death is how I felt, and I may not of known him or met him, but feel that I have lost a family member. May the Lord God welcome His servant Harvey Korman into his heavenly Kingdom in the New Jerusalem, and as a Catholic may I add Shalom to his family and loved one's.

Harvey was always a favorite of my father - two years ago, I took Dad to see Harvey and Tim at the State Theater in Easton, PA. Neeedless to say,we all laughed so hard we couldn't catch our breath. My father passed away 4 months ago, among his problems being a AAA, like Harvey had. I know Dad is showing Harvey around up there, and they are having alot of laughs.

June 01, 2008
A small void has opened in the comedy universe, and it will not be filled again. We are all richer for his talent, and poorer for his loss.

Keep them laughing on the other side, Harvey! You are missed here.
June 01, 2008
Your laughter saved me. You, Carol, Tim, Vicki, and Lyle too me to another place where there was only laughter... the kind from deep inside your belly and your heart. You were not just a man in the tv... you were my "friend." You will be missed on so many levels. Blessed are the skies, for you bring your laughter to the angels........

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

To the Family of Mr Korman:

So sorry about your loss, Mr Korman lived a long and grand life and has gone to rest for a little while. Jesus Christ said: "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. Jesus promised that all those in Gods memory will be resurrected. The anquish of death will be done away with as promised in Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." He also says," Write, because these words are faithful and true."

Thank You Mr. Korman for sharing your talents and making us laugh. You will be missed!

The first of the 'true' comedy ensemble has left our midst. The Carol Burnett show was a true family show and Mr. Korman's humor was a large part of this. His version of the Rhett Butler has me in stitches every time. He will be truly missed and always appreciated for the gift he shared. God Speed.

June 01, 2008
I will forever be greatful to the entire cast of the Carol Burnett Show for giving a sad little girl something to look forward to if only once a week. It's honestly the only thing I can say I simply enjoyed at that time in my life. They can never know what a difference they have made in this world. I loved Harvey, and I'm sad that he has left us. But I know that if it's possible to make heaven a better place, he has most assuredly done just that.
June 01, 2008

May 31, 2008
To The Korman Family,

Some of the best laughter I experienced in my life was from watching Harvey on The Carol Burnett show along with Tim Conway. That was real comedy, and it was clean. The family could watch it and laugh together. May your memories comfort you and bring you peace. But the greatest source of comfort and hope come from Jehovah God, who has promised a resurrection through His son Jesus Christ (John 5:28,29). And I hope that it helps to know that others care.
May 31, 2008
Thanks for the laughter Harvey.
My prayers are with you and your family.
May 31, 2008
heaven is being entertained.
May 31, 2008
Mr Korman was one my favorite performers of all time..he will be sadly missed by all!
May 31, 2008
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.

When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Harvey Korman gone? What a great loss. Gosh, words cannot express how deeply you will be missed. I had to read it twice, hoping I wasn't making a mistake. You always, always, made my parents, sister and I laugh. I will never forget you, Carol Burnet, Tim Conway, Vikki Lawrence laughing during the show, much like Red Skelton did. You brought such joy. And, I know you are doing the same in heaven. And, I know my parents are in the front row! Rest in peace, Mr. Korman!

He was so much a part of my teenage years. Not many people could make you laugh so hard. I remember many times what ever I was drinking coming right back out my mouth and nose while watching Mr. Kornman and Mr. Conway.
My sympathy to his family and friends. He will really be missed.
May 31, 2008
Korman Family,

So sorry about your great lost. May knowing that there are others that really do care give you a measure of comfort.

Help From God

The Bible assures us: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34:18)

“Throw your burden upon Jehovah himself, and he himself will sustain you.” If talking out your feelings with a sympathetic friend can help, how much more will pouring out your heart to “the God of all comfort” help you!

And God’s holy spirit, or active force, can equip you with “power beyond what is normal” to go from one day to the next. God can help you endure any and every problem you may face.

Dear Family of Harvey Korman,

I want to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Grief is often a difficult process but we can find comfort.
You may find that for a time your emotions will be somewhat unpredictable. Tears may flow without much advance warning. Be patient with yourself. And do not feel that you have to hold back the tears. Remember, they are a natural and necessary part of grieving. The Bible promises at PSALMS 55:22 that GOD(Jehovah) will sustain us. This is a dependable hope when we lean upon this promise and more mentioned in the scriptures. Please take care of yourselves.

Sincerely

Young people today do not have the pleasure of watching a comedic genious such as Mr. Korman. It's a pity because some of my fondest memories was watching the Carol Burnett Show with my mother and laughing so hard at good CLEAN jokes. His family has lost, I'm sure, a wonderful person. The world has lost a friend. God Bless the entire Korman family.

To the family and friends of Harvey Korman,

Like millions of Americans, I grew up looking forward to laughing my head off every week watching the Carol Burnett Show. Harvey's comedy appealed to all ages because it was sweet and pure (unlike the cynical, jaded, mean-spirited comedy so often seen today). My parents used to practically fall off their chairs they would laugh so hard. Harvey was so important to the show that I don't even remember any episodes without him.

Thanks for sharing him with the world. I'm sure that my dad is enjoying meeting him in heaven. May his memory be eternal!
May 30, 2008
he will be missed, he was one of a kind. great commedien.

We will miss him, but remember him fondly.
May 30, 2008
It is so hard to lose a loved one- I know from losing my dad- it was all those loving memories- whether sad,mad glad- that kept me thinking he still around the corner looking so when I get those blue spells he would come to me in vision and make me laugh - so in time things will be better- now I truly believe in gone but not forgotten- hang in there- Our thoughts and prayers goes out to an wonderful actor-

Even though I never knew him, I knew of him through his comical work in movies and TV, especially the Carol Burnett show.

Sharing those hysterical moments with Carol, Tim and Vicki, I felt like I knew him. I feel as though I have lost a beloved friend. A friend who after having a bad day, made you laugh, so you remembered why life is so precious.

He brought so much laughter and joy into my life. I can watch the reruns and still laugh out loud today.

He is timeless. We have lost a great talent. A Great man. I stand to applaud you Mr Korman. Bravo.

But think about what he'll do for heaven - all the angels will be in stitches!

Thank you for sharing yourself with us and receiving the same joy and laughs you gave to us, your family and your dear friends. A fan for always who will spend the weekend watching "The Carol Burnett Show" DVD's and "Blazing Saddles" and more movies with you, crying and laughing at the same time. May 30, 2008
Thank you for making us laugh Harvey.

Always waited for that moment in the Carol Burnett Show where you would improvise a line, stare imperiously down your nose with arched eyebrow at Tim Conway and after a battle of locked eyes and wills, Tim would dissolve to the floor in, as Mel Brooks states, "comic ecstacy".
May 30, 2008
My deepest condolences to the Korman family. Harvey was a unique person and his comedy stands with the best. He was never dirty, sometimes risque, but always, always funny. He will be greatly missed by those who enjoyed his humor over the years. The angels are laughing in heaven tonight over Harvey's jokes.

We are sad at the passing of Harvey Korman. He gave us much pleasure with his unique acting ability.
God Bless Mr. Korman's family, friends, and fans.
May 30, 2008
My condolences go out to Harvey's family & friends. Your sadness, though deeper than ours, is shared by the world. Harvey's humor transcended all boundaries & was timeless. They really don't make them like him any more! May the words of Job 14:14 & 15 bring you a measure of comfort. "If an able-bodied man dies can he live again? All the days of my compulsory service I shall wait, Until my relief comes. 15) You will call, and I myself shall answer you. For the work of your hands you will have a yearning."
At that time Harvey will have a whole new world to make laugh & I pray that we will all be there to do the laughing! May you all have peace.
May 30, 2008
you were amazing in blazing saddles!
you will be truly missed! My prayers to the family. May you rest in blissful peace!

May 30, 2008
To Mr. Korman's Family:
I feel as if a huge piece of my childhood just evaporated. I spent many Saturday nights in the 1970s glued to the television set to see what Mr. Korman, Mr. Conway, and the entire cast of The Carol Burnett Show came up with next. May God bless and keep you during this most difficult time in your lives. Mr. Korman was truly one of a kind and will be sorely missed by his adoring fans.
May 30, 2008
Harvey is making someone laugh up in heaven.A true comic legend...we loved watching him on The Carol Burnett Show
May 30, 2008
I remember watching Carol Burnett with my dad. We used to count the number of times Tim Conway would make Harvey laugh when he wasn't supposed to. Oh, the beauty of live TV. My dad has since passed and knowing that Harvey has as well makes my heart weep for both of them. God Bless, Mr. Korman. Say hi to my dad, will you?
May 30, 2008
I was honored to work with Harvey for three months on Americathon and loved our improvisations! I hate that most of them were cut from the film but knowing him and working with him was one of the high points of my life. It is not every girl who gets to wear a Giant Lipstick outfit designed by Bob Mackie and gets to sit on Harvey's lap ! I will always treasure that memory as one of the more bizarre, fun moments of my acting career. He was my comedic hero from childhood and I thought it the height of hilarity to watch him try not to crack up in the middle of a bit. Like any other human, he bore his burdens but he brought so much joy and laughter to this old world that certainly must have made it shine a bit brighter out in space. The world is a duller, less joyful place without Harvey and I am sorry for any pain he endured. Goodnight Sweet Prince.
May 30, 2008
Mr. Harvey Korman was a man who made the world smile with happiness, laugh with glee and bubble over with joy. Each one of his characters on "The Carol Burnette Show" expressed the definition of hilariously funny and exordinarily outrageous. His contribution to the world of entertainment was established through his acting and will forever be remembered for generations to come. The world shares in celebrating the life and times of Mr. Korman and his legacy remains forever. God bless the family of Mr. Korman and may the peace of God guard your hearts and mind during this period of sorrow and sadness.
May 30, 2008
He was one of the funniest men I have ever seen. He along with the others on the Carol Burnett show are a big part of many of my childhood memories. Whenever I saw him on tv even if he said nothing, I would just crack up laughing. He will be missed but never forgotten.
May 30, 2008
I was deeply saddened when TXCN announced that you had passed. I grew up watching the Carol Burnett Show and absolutely loved Mr. Korman and Tim Conway's skits together. The fact that Mr. Korman would get tickled and laugh himself, made it all the funnier. He made me, a 10 year old, laugh and laugh!! It was a known fact at my house that you did not dare touch that dial when it was time for the Carol Burnett Show to come on! Mr. Korman was one of my parents favorite TV personalities to watch. Even at as a youngster it was great fun to laugh at Ed and Eunice ... and to time how long it would take for Carol or Tim to say or do something that would just make him "crack" up!! Those were the best of times on television. My sincere prayers are extended to his family and the cast members of the Carol Burnett Show.

To all the fans of Mr. Korman who spent many hours making us all laugh. He has left us all with many fond happy and funny memories. It's so sad to loose such a one, it brings heartache and pain that seems to never stop. It's comforting to know that Almighty God knows and feels your pain. That is why he has given us his words to comfort us. Psalm 34:18 assures us,"He is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." He is the "God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3) Soon our hearts will be free of pain, because Jesus promise at John 5:28,29 that there will be a "resurrection". This gives us hope of being reunited with our love ones, right here on earth. Until that time God tells us at Psalm 55:22 "Throw your burden upon him and he WILL sustain YOU." May your memories of Mr. Korman along with prayer help you through the days ahead.
My Deepest Sympathy
May 30, 2008

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of such a wonderful and comedic individual. I remember in growing up that was one of my mom's favorite shows to watch (Carol Burnett). I always loved when Harvey would do the skits with her, he made them more real and alive. He will indeed be missed. I am so sorry to hear of the loss once again, it was a shock when I read it. But please rest assured that soon God will bring about a Kingdom that will never be brought to ruin,-Daniel 2:44. That Kingdom will accomplish so much namely resurrecting our loved ones we have lost in death. Therefore giving you a chance once more to see your loved one again, right here on earth. The earth will be transformed to be a Paradise. Once again it will be by means of Jehovah God's Kingdom that this will all be accomplished. Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss.

Sincerely,
May 30, 2008
