I worked with Mike in the mid-90s at CH 9. Between newscasts,we'd watch JEOPARDY! on the monitors, and Mike would answer almost every question! A great wit and talented man.
It's always sad to lose a classmate, especially one that seemed to have so much talent. Though I did not know him well, I WISH I did. God bless you, Michael!!
God bless and welcome you, Mike. You were a pleasure to work with at KWTV News and the City of Oklahoma City. We will miss your wit, smile and loyalty. You were an inspiration. Love, Pam Henry
MIKE I LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU.I HOPE YOU ARE WITH YOUR DAD AND GAMBO.IT BREAKS MY HEART TO KNOW THAT I WILL NOT SEE YOU ON THIS EARTH AGAIN.LOVE YOUR WICKED STEPMOM
Your amazing love of life & spirit & mankind in general will live on through every life you touched...your humor, your hard-headed debates, your laughter, your amazing ability to see any issue from all perspectives at one time...still baffles me...but there are 2 things that I hold dearest to me... being blessed enough to know you and love you especially through a very rough time when your Dad passed and the ever demented answer to the question "Do fish get thirsty?" *Smiles*...I promise a little bit of you will be shared with others daily at least by me...I love you...I miss you & Carp? I'll see ya when I see ya...

Worked with Mike at KWTV, remembering the absurd and funny moments that we shared makes me smile today.
I am as sure you are still fully alive in spirit as you were sure of the end being final. I am so happy you found such love and joy in the end.
I remember you & all your talent. We had class at Fair Park. So sorry for your friends for their & our loss.
