The best 22 years of my life were spent with Michael. This was one awesome man not only for what he did for the City of Oklahoma but for how well loved he was by the his fellow workers with the City and the citizens for Oklahoma City. He will be truly missed.
I feel very blessed and honored to have known Mike...such a respected and loved guy. Heaven has a great one now...RIP dear friend. Love ya!!!
The best boss I ever worked for. He remembered birthdays, special holidays and he loved Christmas, oh boy did he love Christmas!
I worked in the same office with Mike when he worked for the State of Oklahoma from 2000-2003. After he left the department; I enjoyed seeing him on the news informing Oklahomans about the street condition. He was a good person and a great co-worker. I am saddened to hear of his passing.
We love and will miss you!! Sandy and Blaine Ross
With heartfelt condolences I'm truly sorry for your loss. I know how much Mike meant to you because he meant so much for the City. I say with truth It's was always a pleasure working with Mike over the many years. Mike remained the same good-natured person even during times when weather was severe in Oklahoma City. We admire and cherished his contribution,we'll deeply miss Mike. May your memories of Mike bring you comfort.
I have been with the Streets Department five years this month. Mike was one of the most dedicated and hard working people I have ever met. Even when he wasn't working he was working. He truely loved what he did for a living. He was always looking to better our city and our department. I have enjoyed working with him over the last five years. He made it a nightly event to go by and say good night to everyone that was still in the office when he left for the evening. He will be missed for his humor, his kindness, his dedication, his work ethics, and just because he was him. He was a great person. He will be missed greatly by the department especially when it comes to snow and ice time and our Christmas luncheon which he always started off for us.
Mike, Rest in peace. You will never be forgotten at Street Maint.
To Mike's family and loved ones, I am so sorry for your loss and your pain. Thoughts and prayers are with each of you in hopes that God will wrap his loving arms around you and comfort you in your time of need. I hope that you have peace knowing that Mike is still with you. He is soaring high with his new wings to watch over and keep every one of you safe. May you have fond memories that hold him close to your heart.
I didn't know him before our 60th birthday for our class but I enjoyed sitting and talking with him that night. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.
