Dr. Lillard,as vice-principal of Classen High School when I was a student there in the late fifties,was a role model who exemplified seriousness of purpose tempered by kindness. His later brilliant administrative career was a testimonial to these--and his many other--fine qualities. He was a good man who contributed much to many in the course of his life and career.
