Richie was loved by all. His infectious smile and wonderful heart made everyone feel special. It is so sad to have lost a wonderful person so soon. May God grant you peace and comfort knowing Richie is sharing that same smile and caring heart with everyone in Heaven.

I was so saddened when I heard this news. Although alot of time has passed since I last saw Richie, I will never forget his smile and how he could just light up any room. He was beloved by all that knew him. May God bless the Akin family in this time of great sorrow!

Although we've been out of touch for many years, Richie is dear to my heart. He was absolutely a tender soul and a precious friend. I regret that we didn't keep in better touch. Prayers and love to all the Akins. Richie will be greatly missed.

Rich was one of a kind. I enjoyed laughing with him and seeing him at the door at the pub on weekends when he would work the door. I was in shock when I had heard the news of his passing, his smile and good spirit is already missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family in this time of need and hope that God gives them the comfort and strength they need in this difficult time.
