James Dale, 61, of Moore, OK, left this world to be with the Lord on Jan. 28, 2011. He was born Aug. 17, 1949 in Oklahoma City to Lonzo and Lola B Ivey. In 1967 he graduated from Capitol Hill High School. James was a decorated Vietnam Veteran with the Big Red One Infantry and was awarded the Bronze Star. He retired from Integris Health after 27 years as an Engineer. James was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife of 39 years of marriage, Sue Ivey; mother, Lola; son, Jimmy and wife Debbie Ivey; sisters, Nadine Walker and husband Paul, Debbie Wilcoxson and husband Danny and Lonna Mowles and husband Mike; 2 step-grandchildren, Alex and Kris Schradle; and numerous nieces and nephews. James will be missed by all who loved him. No visitation or viewing. Services will be held 2:00 pm on Feb. 3, 2011 at South Colonial Chapel and the interment will follow at the Resthaven Cemetery. Jimmy, I was soooo sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. my name is Cathy Ludlow, I grew up with your dad when we lived on Woodward st., my last name then was Dart. You may have gotten an email from my brother Jimmy or James Dart. Our brother Danny was a real good friend of Jimmy's then, my brother died in the Vietnam war in 1967. How did Jimmy pass?
