Just as no man has power over the spirit or can restrain the spirit, so no one has power over the day of death. Just as no one is discharged during a war, so wickedness will not allow those who practice it to escape. All of this I have seen, and I applied my heart to every work that has been done under the sun, during the time that man has dominated man to his harm. (Ecclesiastes 8:8,9). Jason is missed by family and friends and prayers continue to pour out for his family may you all have peace.

I have come to know Jason through his amazing sister Leila. I feel that he was an amazing young man with so much potential. May he continue to do his work, but now as an angel on our side. Look over your sister Jason for she loves you and needs you!
Your time was cut too short but the time you had here made a HUGE impression on those you knew and that loved you. For those of us that only got to know you in such a tragic manner, I am still so very proud to call you my military family and part of my Ft. Hood Family!
Leila keep up the fight!! You are anamazing testiment to your brothers love of life, family and military! You are amazing in your own right!
Much love to the Hunt Family!

JD. I still cannot believe it. To this day, I am in shock that you are gone. You were one of my great friends who I could tell anything to and would laugh at my jokes, even if it was a fake laugh. I always think about high school and all the crazy times we had. I will NEVER forget the day you came to school with TWO different shoes on. One was black and the other was red and David and I were like...JD, why did you wear two different shoes? And you just looked down and laughed and said..well, I was dressing in a hurry and just grabbed some shoes. I remember the day you came back to Okla from your first leave of iraq. You, Rebecca, and I went to Hastings and talked for hours..about everything and anything. And I will never forget the kindess you showed me when you had to go back to Iraq right after Aiden was born. You helped me through a dark moment in my life. One of my lowest. Even in Iraq, you had time to check your myspace and always write me back and tell me things would get better. And you were right, they did. You were one of the few who remembered my birthday. I still have my pen...Pepper Mae's pen, in its box. I dare not use it because I am to afraid to lose it. I have used once or twice but its back in the box after that. And no one dare touches those movies you gave me. It was great seeing you last May. You, David, and I just eating at Applebees and catching up on old times. The day Rebecca called me and said you were gone hit me like a rock. I couldn't beleive it. I would never hear you say "Rock on" again. I wouldn't hear that laugh again. You had a laugh that made everyone laugh even if we didn't know what it was for. I wish you could have met Aiden. He is the funniest little kid with a BAD temper. You could say that I'm paying for my raising. Our 5 yr anniv. is coming up at high school and you will not be there. This is too sad to even think about, but it is reality. We are doing something in your honor. And you would tell us that it was too much and we do not need to do this and that it will embarrass you. But you deserve this. You gave your life for our country, for our class, and most importantly, for your family. You will never be forgotten. Not a day goes by that Rebecca and I don't talk about you. JD, we all miss you so much. Just know, that to each of us, you are our hero. And we thank you for everything. You will NEVER be forgotten. NEVER!

Thank You SPC. Jason Dean Hunt. We shared a host of good quality time and fun. Want to thank everyone for their condolences, Tango Transport for seeing i was able to visit Jason in Georgia while he was in training. When Jason gave me my family share plan phone back,he went to Iroc, said he wanted to pay his own phone bill when he returned. We were still talking every week. He love to help work on my house when he was here, said he wanted to learn how to take care of a house. Jason a TRUE AMERICAN. Like his grampas, a man of action. He talked about Jen his wife and the children. Jason is in Gods arms. THANK YOU ALL
