No one can fully comprehend the pain of losing a child, except one who has suffered through such grief. But know, Mel, that my heart aches for you and all those who love John. May you find comfort in the promise of the resurrection and rest assured that goodbyes are not for ever. You will see and hold your darling boy again. Of this I am confident.

No words could possibly suffice for the loss of one so young. My thoughts and prayers go out to your loved ones who suffer in your absence. Those close to tragedy rarely glimpse the big picture, but clearly you were called home- having learned and done all that was necessary for you in this life. If we too pass the test, then we'll greet you where you are now...

John Bryan, This shouldn't be. We are told in the Bible that all things work for the good if we love the Lord. In my humanness, I can't see the good in this. But I hope if we haven't learned anything else, we learn to forgive in this. We hardly knew ye. I hope that you and Bryan are walking down a gold lined street hand in hand. He was so looking forward to your arrival and died 2 weeks too soon. But he sees you now. Goodby. Love Grandma Dee
