It was a whirlwind knowing the both of you. I will miss your crazy, funny, lovely wife, Karla. She was my friend. God says he knows the number of our days, and although some are short and some are long, Karla lived hers at full speed. She spoke up and spoke out. She held tightly to what she wanted to do and then she went for it. Karla was indeed one of a kind and I am happily blessed that I knew her. My sympathy is with you, Jim, during this sad time. I am so sorry she left so soon.

Karla, I am so glad to have met you...in the brief time we shared, I saw your special soul...so glad you are no longer suffering, and I promise to do what I can to keep your Shannon happy and focused on really living and enjoying life.
