BurchMarch 10, 1936 - April 9, 2014 DEL CITY Kenneth Edward Burch departed this life on April 9, 2014, to be with his heavenly Father. Kenneth "Joe" was born March 10, 1936, in Amarillo, Texas, to Coy J. and Irene Burch. He met the love of his life, Hazel Ellen Roth, and soon married on July 3, 1958. Kenneth worked for his father as a mechanic at Coy's Brake Service for many years and joined the Navy Reserves for eight years. Later, he worked for OG&E for 34 years as a mechanic while raising three children, Coy, Kenneth, and Kathy. While raising the family and working, Kenneth enjoyed spending much of the time at the lake fishing, camping and relaxing. He also enjoyed working with scouting from Cub Scouts all the way through Boy Scouts with his sons and his daughter in scouting as well. After retiring from OG&E, Kenneth and his wife, Hazel, spent much of their time traveling across the country. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his brother, Alvin; and nephew, Tommy Burch and his wife Hazel. He is survived by sons, Coy and Kenneth; daughter, Kathy; four grandchildren, Ryan, Eric, Ashley, and Barbara; and one great-grandson, Jaxson. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on April 14, 2014, in the Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service.
