I met Mike at Catholic Youth Camp in the 5th grade and became instant friends. Sharing a large tent with others, we were best buds. We didn't see each other until several years latter when he recognized me with that same delightful grin. We would reconnect off and on throughout high school and bump into each other over the years. I remember being at his house after serving in the Marines in Vietnam Nam. He had lost his arm and told me about getting wounded in the Nam. He told me about the motorcycle accident where he chose to loose his arm to save a girls life. Mike was a hero, a true man of service, God's own son. I wish I could have been at his service. I have felt very close to him over the last week and I know that I will see my good rascally friend again in paradise. May he rest in Peace and Perpetual Light shine upon him!

At St. Gregory's our nickname for Mike was Smiley. He was a good friend. So Michael "Smiley" Dunn may your journey to the next world be peaceful and filled with love.

"Mikie" was the best brother-in-law, friend, and all in all person. I will miss him greatly. He has touched our family. You will leave a hole in our hearts but memories that we will cherish forever and no one can take that away. Love you Mikie. Trisha Johnson, Enid,Ok

Praying for the Dunn Family. I will miss his wonderful smile. Amazing that at 21 he lost the use of his arm but instead of letting that hold him back or becoming bitter he always seemed to enjoy life. Summer days at the lake will not be the same without my sweet neighbor. We brought him a plant in condolences for the death of his daughter and he could not thank us enough. He seemed so touched by it. I am glad Steve was there to try to help with our sweet friend. RIP our wonderfull friend.

Mike was a friend of mine since high school at St. Gregorys. It wasn't in his obituary but he was voted The Grand Knight by all the guys in the school. You had to be a football star and liked by nearly everyone in the school to win Grand Knight. Mike was an incredible hard-hitting middle linebacker. Old St. Gregorys was an all male Catholic Preparatory High School back in the early 60's. And Mike, was the type of guy who protected the younger guys from the upper classmen who liked to haze the younger guys. He was one of the finest men I've had the pleasure to know. We lost track of each other once he joined the police crew and dept. of corrections but our friendship was permanent. My wife and I send our prayers to his family. We were all better off to know him.
