To The Family of Miranda. I am truely sorry for your loss. I am going to miss my best friend, Miranda. Miranda always had a smile on her face. She never had a sad face, she was always smiling and laughing. I am going to miss her smile and her laugh, but most of all her big hugs.
Miranda, I will always keep you in my heart and I will never forget you. I will miss you.
Miranda always loved basketball, that was her favorite sport, but most of all she loved her basketball coach's.

Miranda,

You were my best friend for many years, but our lives took us seperate ways. I have always respected your drive and determination. I knew you would be a coach someday. It was your dream. You will be missed.

Nettie, Cassandra, and the rest of the Serna family...you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Serna Family, I didn't know Miranda personally, but knew of her by watching womens' college basketball. I was very surprised and most proud to learn of her beginnings...Mora/Guadalupita, NM! I am from northern NM and my in-laws live in Guadalupita and am so very proud to know that Miranda had a dream and fullfilled that dream coming from a very small town - you don't have to come from a big or famous city to become a successful person, mentor, coach, you just have to be determined and full of life! And that is exactly what your daughter was. May God bless you and give you strength through this very sad time in your lives. You and your family are in my prayers and know your daughter has inspired many young girls! With Sympathy and Love.

I didn't know Miranda nor her family, but as I read about the tragic accident, I am saddened by such a loss. May God comfort her family, friends and students.
