To The Latting Family: We offer our sympathy, thoughts and prayers. My father was Marvin Sewell. He was born and raised in Granite, OK. His parents names were Tilden Anderson Sewell and Martha Sewell. Don't know the lineage, but told that my dad and Patience were distant cousins. You can reach me at 722-6788 if you have information of the connection or need more information. My mom, Golden Garlow Sewell spoke highly of Patience. Cheryl Sewell Taylor

Mayor Latting was one of my mentors in my early years of teaching and coaching. Later I was honored to teach her daughters, an incredible lady and she will be greatly missed by all who came in contact with her.

We were sad when she left office. We never had a better Mayor. I admired her greatly. She will be missed by all.

Cynthia: So sorry for the loss of your mother. The many times I did meet her she was very gracious with all of us around her house and was a great host.
