Peter, I'm so sorry to hear about what happened. What an adventurous soul.

To the Getz family,
I was just informed about what happened yesterday. I went to school w/Peter & I just wanted to tell you how sorry I was to hear of his passing. He will be greatly missed. My sympathy for your family.

Pete, you were a very dear friend and one of my closest confidantes. Thank you for teaching me so much about all that you were passionate about and for enriching my life and so many other's lives. I think, though, that the animals will miss you almost more than the people you left behind. Thank you for everything, and God bless you. I miss you.

The animal world was blessed the day that Pete chose to be a part of it. He enriched my life, educated me in some ways, and I will always remember his infectious smile.

To Mrs. Getz and the rest of Pete's Family,
I am so sorry to hear about what happened to Pete. I have so many fond memories of playing soccer with Pete and just hanging out with him and the other guys at WB.
Even though we drifted our separate ways after college, I occasionally would hear what Pete was up to and I always thought that it was so awesome that Pete was doing what he loved and what he was meant to do.
In these tough times, remember how much joy and love Pete brought into this world. We are all so thankful for the time we were able to spend with him.
