Proud to be a small link in carrying on the WKY/KFOR tradition... Mr. Crosley's contributions to our community meant so much. My heart goes out to his friends and family.

I just found out about Dick's passing and sad to hear it. I met him at the Edmond YMCA when I joined after returning from Iraq and he was always friendly. I think we made a connection because of our military bond. We gave each other a friendly "hard time" every time we saw each other. I had noticed his absence lately but just assumed he changed the time he came to the YMCA. His friendly voice will be missed.

Richard Crosley, a gracious and honorable man! I met him while working at the Edmond YMCA in 1988 as he liked jumping in the pool as soon as it was opened. I was just a poor college student at Central State University at the time and we became friends. Richard was full of encouragement as I applied for full-time work. In 1990 I found myself unemployed and in the middle of a 4-month process hoping to be hired by the Oklahoma City Fire Department. Richard was a friend and he gave me hope and assisted me during this time. I've always said he was my biggest cheerleader, then and always! Thank you Richard for touching my life in such a positive way, you will be missed!

So sad to hear of Mr. Crosley's passing,he was my Radio TV and Film instructor,@ CE Donart in the 70's,what a hoot he was! His jokes and method of teaching made that class so memorable.I still tell his "Better Nate than Lever" joke to this day! I'm sure there is an awesome place in Heaven for this man, along with his good buddy,Clyde Irving Tidwell !
