Sept 24, 1959 - Jan 24, 2015 EDMOND Vicki Lynn Vinson Wilson passed away peacefully on January 24, 2015. She was born on September 24, 1959, in Seminole, Oklahoma, and was raised in Oklahoma City. She graduated from John Marshall High School in 1977, then lived in Texas for a few years before returning to Oklahoma City and working for the Hertz Corp. for 15 years. Vicki was a homemaker and an avid volunteer and was especially fond of her position as Director of Children's Ministries at Oasis Church in Edmond. She enjoyed baking for her family and friends and was a true dog lover. Vicki, Bill, and daughter, Shelby, enjoyed traveling as well. One of their favorite vacation destinations in the U.S. was Branson, Missouri. Vicki was passionate about life; she adored her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Lew Frank Vinson; two infant brothers; grandparents, Juanita & Ira Vinson; aunt, Shirley Vinson Thomas; and uncle, Paul Vinson. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Bill Wilson; mother, Julia Gotcher; mother-in-law, Ruth Wilson; daughters, Shelby Wilson and Crystal Perry; sons, Jason Perry, Timothy, Sean (Samantha), and Colton Wilson; sisters, Cynthia Vinson Lewis (Andrew); Jacinda Gotcher Gispanski (Tom); brother, George Gotcher Jr. (Denise); cousins, Gregg Thomas and Tami Thomas Wilson and their children; grandsons, Hudson and Benjamin Perry; Wyatt and Tucker Wilson; nieces and nephews, Anna-Ruth, Alexander, Amanda Lewis, Briana Gotcher Miller, Karleena and Zoe Gotcher, and Nicholas Gispanski; sister-in-law, Susan Duncan (Danny); brothers-in-law, Ernest (Francine), Robert (Ladonna), and Eddy Wilson (Paula). A special thanks to Dr. Lara Theobald of Integris Cancer Institute and the staff of the Integris Hospice House. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Route 66 Food Pantry, located at Oasis Church in Edmond. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 28 at 10 a.m. at Oasis Church, located at 1700 S. Bryant Ave., Edmond, OK 73013.
