What a kind, generous & thoughtful man, with such a positive, genuine spirit!! I will always remember the family dinner outings "Uncle Billy" would treat us to on our annual Oklahoma trips. A wonderful man with such an enthusiastic smile & captivating presence, touched the lives of all he met.

Judge Holloway truly was one of the kindest, most thoughtful, loving persons our family has ever known. His kindness, love and friendship over many decades is deeply treasured, and we are grateful beyond words for having known him.
We send our love to Helen, Gentry, Martha, Jack, Josh and family.

Judge Holloway was a friend of my father, A. Cooper Lyon, class of Classen '40 and owner of The Anna Maude Cafeteria, who passed away in 1995. For ten years, 1974-1983, Judge Holloway supported me as a staff member of Campus Crusade for Christ, and I visited with him every summer about my work. I was initially very intimidated at the thought of calling a justice of the 10th Circuit of Appeals for financial support, but Judge Holloway was so kind and encouraging, he put me at ease both on the phone and at his office. I've often heard the word "gentleman" in reference to him and I feel that was almost an understatement. He was the kind of leader, of highest integrity, that was so very unique; no one will ever replace all that he was. I saw him a couple of years ago at his office and while it was obvious he was weaker physically, his mind and his soul were vibrant. I was always so proud to know him, and his death is a momentous loss in the legal system, as well as in the life of our city and state. Blessings to you, his family. May you carry his legacy proudly.

It was a privilege and honor to work for Judge Holloway for 10 years as his Secretary. We worked hard, but we always had fun. The parties at his home were some of the finest times ever. Miss Helen's spinach dip is still my favorite appetizer! I will forever remember Judge's bright smile and rosy cheeks. He was a gentlemen and a scholar and will be deeply missed. All our love to Miss Helen and Gentry. ~Sharon & Curt Watts
