I always remember having Shelley and Mike as our neighbors and childhood playmates during elementary and Jr. High school in the Oakland Avenue neighborhood. Mike and Shelley were both very warm & kind guys who enjoyed participating in our childhood fun activities.
I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for each of you.
My deepest condolences to Shelley's wife, son, daughter, Mike, Gary, and their families, as well as your entire family and all his many friends as well!
May you always find peace and joy in the fantastic memories you have shared with Shelley through the years!
Again, my deepest sympathies to each of you.
Sincerely,
Kathie Poulos Schweiss

Shelly will be deeply missed. He was a good friend and mentor to those around him. My thoughts are with the family now.

Daddy - I will never forgot one of the last things you said to me, "I love you so much." I also love you more than you'll ever know. I am so lucky to have had you as my dad. You were the absolute best father anyone could have had. I know you are watching over me, and will always be with me. Thank you for always being supportive of me. I promise that as I go on in life, I will do my best to make you proud. I hope I can be as successful of a person as you were. You were the greatest man I have ever known. I love you. You will always be in my heart.
