I'm so very sorry to hear of Karen's passing. I have so many fond memories of the Peebles family. You are all in my thoughts during this very difficult time.

So sorry for your loss, you are in my thoughts and prayers

I am a Nurse who worked with Karen both at St. Luke's and at Slocum Dickson. She was one of the best nurses I ever knew. Caring for her patients and their families was her passion and her calling. Teaching others was also her calling, and she was an outstanding teacher. I helped her teach BLS & ACLS classes. She was a person who never compromised on her principles. She was never afraid to speak her mind, often saying "I tell it like it is." She was widely respected by everyone she worked with. I considered her a dear friend and a cherished colleague.

I extend my deepest sympathy to Karen's family, for your loss of such a fantastic person. Karen touched so many lives; she will not be forgotten.
