AUNT ALMA-WAS a wonderful storyteller just like Grandpappy-I remember reeiving gifts from her that were so neatly wrapped that Fort Know would not be able to open them-especially the pencils with my name on them-I will miss her accent-Shannon Q
My Aunt Alma was such a special lady...I have enjoyed reading the sweet comments from her former students. I have learned even more about how remarkable she was since her passing. We miss you and love you, Aunt Alma.
Miss Quillian was a wonderful teacher and mentor. She helped me be a better math student and a better business education teacher. Rest in Peace, Miss Quillian.
She was one of my most treasured teachers and a kind and generous person. She is among some of my fondest memories of high school.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
She was quite the institution when I came to MCHS to teach in 1980. What a fine person and great teacher. Dorann Mansberger

Ms. Quillian was a icon at MCHS...RIP dear lady.
Miss Quillian was a wonderful teacher.
Miss Quillian was a great teacher and a great neighbor. I lived across the street from her when I was young. She gave us blueberries every year. For some unknown reason, forty something years later I still remember that and still love blueberries. Ms. Quillian touched many lives.
My deepest sympathy is extended to the Quillian family. She left a quite a legacy with scores of students.
Thank you Miss Quillian for persevering through two years of high school math with me. As a teacher now, I greatly appreciate all you did for the students of Morgan County.
I have thought of Miss Quillian fondly through the years and often cite her for solid preparation in algebra. I am sitting on my sofa recalling the lessons on exponents as demonstrated via clear explanations and beautifully rendered examples using a grease pencil on an endless overhead transparency. I loved the way she would muse to herself and chuckle aloud. She also taught spelling... I remember the day she introduced the word "frappe," and used it in a sentence including "a frozen ice enjoyed mainly in Europe.". a very romantic person....I am proud to have known her.
I'm very happy to have been taught by Ms. Quillian. Thanks for the fond memories.
I'm glad to have known and been taught by Ms. Quillian. Thanks for the fond memories.
Miss Quillian taught three generations of my family and many others. She will be greatly missed.
Miss Quillian was my geometry teacher, but, more importantly, she was my across-the-street neighbor all my life. My childhood memories of visiting with her and her aunt, "Miss Nonie" will stay with me forever. My thoughts and prayers are with the family as we remember this remarkable woman.
I remember Ms. Quillian fondly, as my teacher at Morgan Co. High School. She loved math and loved her students! We also have the privilege of knowing her niece, Sally, and Sally's husband Comer, through Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, Ga. Our prayers are with the family at this time!
