Ms.Peggy thanks for allowing me to know such a wonderful human being in Lucinda. She was natured just like her momma. Love ya dearly... May God bless and keep you all.
The first time I saw Lucinda after her cancer diagnosis, I was so incredibly moved by her outlook. She told me that she would fight with everything she has, but that if her life ended tomorrow, she would be fine with it. Lucinda told me that she has lived such an incredibly blessed and full life and that she had no regrets and needed nothing more. She moved me to tears. She continues to inspire me.
My thoughts and prayers go out to her family
Even though we lost touch a long time ago,I still have wonderful memories from our childhood. My heart goes out to Peggy,Janelle and Nathan. May God Bless.
Lucinda: You were the best. Heaven has received back one of its own. Always a smile ever for those who walked thru your door. The world is a better place because you were a part of it. I, along with all who knew you including your precious pets, will miss you greatly.
I had no idea and am greatly saddened by this news. However, it's also a time to rejoice knowing there is no more pain, suffering or anything else that can cause Lucinda discomfort.
I recall meeting Lucinda in high school for the first time as she so boldly expressed her humorous side to me and the class. I instantly liked Lucinda and enjoyed her wonderful attitude which only inspired me to come out of my shell. God bless

Peggy, Janelle, I am so sorry about Lucinda. I remember the times at the barn in Altamont with all her animals in toe.. She loved life and taking care of all her little animals, and her big thoroughbred.. We once tried to load in my trailer. He didn't want to go, so we didn't get him in that trailer. My memories of Lucinda all smiles. She was a wonderful lady. I read all the memorials and realize how many lives she touched all over. I will miss her! Deborah Dellinger, Southport, NC
So sorry to hear of Lucinda's passing. Somehow, I think she might have said to herself " cancer you will not win. If I die you die too". I will miss her so much. For her family, she was so greatful to have you all. Please know how much and how often she spoke of you and all your tremendous support and care- of her and the critters.
As we watch her go, those on the other side are so excited "here she comes, here she comes".

We are so sorry to hear this news. Our deepest sympathy to Ms Peggy and Janelle and family.Lucinda was a sweet and beautiful person, may God bless all of you and hold you in his hand.
I am inexpressibly saddened by the loss of such a precious person. Lucinda was one of my angels, as I too am dealing with breast cancer. While she was a dear before, having met her as a patient at Dr. M's., once I shared my own diagnosis, not a week went by without a sweet and encouraging email from her, each one ending with, "You are strong and beautiful." It's SHE who was so incredibly strong and beautiful, and though this world is less without her, heaven is richer for her presence.
Love and prayers to her family, friends, and colleagues <3
Lucinda was such a sweet person and always had a smile on her face that made going to the dentist enjoyable. I will truly miss her when I have my next visit. Prayers to the family.
So sorry for your loss, our prayers are with you.
I was so sad to hear of Lucinda's passing. I only knew her for the short time I have been Dr. McDonald's dental patient, but talking with her and seeing the slide show of her fantastic photos of nature and animals always made my day brighter and better. I wish someone would collect all her fabulous photos and publish them so that they can continue to be enjoyed. What a talented and thoughtful person she was. I will miss her.
It surely was my loss I didn't know her. She walked thru my mind this week and then I heard the news. This is a most beautiful tribute to her. Wish peace in your hearts.

Peggy, Janelle and family; my thoughts and prayers are with you this evening. I'm in astonishment from hearing this news; however my memory of Lucinda is her kindness and love for everyone she met. During our 4 years at Avery and in the years since, Lucinda was and still is a very strong part of our class. The ACHS Class of 1984 is missing a sister today, but she will never be forgotten.
I am very sorry to hear of Lucinda's passing. I will always remember her kind heart and her love of animals.
I met Lucinda when I was in 7th grade. Not only were we in school together but we kept our horses at the same barn in Foscoe. Her horse Percy (Crystal Blue Persuasion) From her cat Nod to the horses and dogs, she was one of the most caring and loving to them. For anybody who did not know Lucinda, you missed out on a lady that made you so important, so ...well, you missed knowing one class act. I will always remember what she told me before my 1st horse show, she said "you will be scared s#@$less, but you will do great."

We are sorry to hear of the passing of Lucinda. She was a sweet girl and we remember her fondly. We pray that the family will be comforted by God's grace and blessings along with the good memories they have of Lucinda.
She was always good to me. I remember going with her in an ice storm to check on and feed the horses. She loved her animals. I was only a kid when she left here, but I ran into her when she came up and she still recognized me as I did her. She always had a smile, hug and kind word for me and the family.
My heart is breaking for Peggy and Janelle and Nathan for their loss of Lucinda, one of the most caring and giving people to have graced this world with her presence. I have never and will never forget our friendship. I deeply regret the seperation that years and miles created and wish I could have just one more day with my best friend.
So glad to have known this lady-such a blessing to everyone she came in contact with. I will surely miss seeing her sweet smile. I will keep the family in my prayers, so hard to loose someone you love so fast. God Bless you all.
This was a perfect memorial to Lucinda. She was such a special person and a joy to be with.
One of the special things she shared with me was the fun Christmas times when she joined her family and they sang on the Karaoke machine.
Our deepest sympathy & May God Bless!
So much grace, so much beauty, so much love all bound up in the soul and heart of a beautiful person - lost to this world much too soon. My deepest sympathy to those who knew and loved her most.
