Condolences to Dick's family. As a fellow faculty member at UGA I enjoyed my interactions with him-he had such a good perspective on things. He will be missed.
So very sorry for your great loss, and you and all of your family remain in our prayers. Richard was a kind, considerate man who will remain in our fondest memories.
I enjoyed greatly working with and for Dick. His droll humor was really appreciated in a often dull academic world. Libby and I send our deepest sympathies to you, Sandy, and to Mathew and Michael and the extended family.
I am so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He was so kind and helpful that I credit much of my academic success to his collaboration. On top of that I really liked the guy. I always looked forward to running into the two of you at conferences. He will be well missed.
Richard will be truly missed here at the Athens YMCA. Ms. Sandra, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Tammy

Dr. Wooley was a mentor to me in veterinary school. I always enjoyed his bacteriology lectures and his references to "poodle practice in Florida". He was a kind man. My condolences.
dr. wooley was a bright light in an enviornment that was not always kind to bright lights. when i needed a lift, i would go to dr. wooley's office and in 30 minutes he had me laughing outloud and forgetting why i needed the lift to start with. God be with you and your family. royce
Dear Sandy, Matt and Michael: I was truly saddened to hear of Richard's passing from my daughter Paige. Not only was Richard, you and the boys patients for many years but you were my friends. It was always a pleasure to have each of you come into my office and you and Richard always kept me up to date on the boy's lives as well. Just know that all of you are in my prayers and Richard will be missed by many. God Bless you all. Dr.Allan Hixon and family.
For Nell and me I extend our sincere sympathy for the loss of Richard. We enjoyed our years together at AA with Richard, you, Michael, and Matthew. It is our hope that all the fond memories of him and God's love will provide you comfort and strength.
Dave and Gale have their thoughts and prayers with you. Lots of wonderful memories.
Sandy, Matthew, and Michael, I am so sorry to hear about Dick--we did research and published together in the 1970's and he was a delightful, fun person to work with. I consider him to have been one of my mentors when I worked in the field. My sincerest condolences to all of you. Lucy
Sandy, I am so sorry. Dr. Wooley will be missed in so many ways...But I know how much he enjoyed life while he was with you and your sons' families. He was a wonderful mentor for me and I will always be grateful for his guidance and friendship.
All of us long timers at AACAD were so very sad to learn this unhappy news. Thinking about you Mike and Matt daily.
